Don’t shift blame
Those illegal immigrants who complain that Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids tear families apart should stop blaming everyone one else and take responsibility for the consequences of being in this country illegally.
It is their choice to come here. They know what can happen if they get caught. Parents everywhere know that the choices they make will not only affect them but also their children. Those here illegally have no right to blame anyone but themselves.

If you all 'really' love each other you'd all pack up and go back to Mexico "TOGETHER". I would if I were in that situation.
Selling houses and vehicles and personal belonging can go along way in Mexico. Will all the money sent back and everything sold

They have learned to take advantage of the current American "victim mentality". Our society is so full of whiners that actually get what they want; it is easy to see this is a system to be exploited. It is like a magnet to people who make poor choices in life.

Illegal immigrants should be treated with respect and civility. It is the American way. Most illegal immigrants are akin to the person who steals bread because his family is hungry and a person who steals bread because his family is hungry is not a criminal in the same sense as the common criminal who steals as a way of life. One might get the impression from reading this forum that the hotheads are in the majority. They are not. The American way is in the majority. It is a travesty of justice to zero on on the illegal immigrants and allow the employers to get by with practical impunity. If we are going to arrest the illegal immigrants. we should go out of our way to recognize the plight that brought them here and treat them accordingly. Above all, we should accord the children with the honor that all children deserve, regardless of their parentage.

We need to have a comprehensive plan for dealing with illegals which will deport all who are caught breaking the law. We already put parents of children in jail if they break laws why should we have any more sympathy for children born here as a means of permitting parents to continute breaking the law? Give the parents the choice of leaving with or without the kids.
Punish with strong penalties, which will probably have to be state generated, employers who hire illegals. The amount is less important than the certainty of punishment. Jail time would be nice but personnel change and the business could outsource all hiring and bypass that.
Now that Swift has been sold we can draw some conclusions that many will disagree with.
First Swift took a long look and decided that the politicains might just lose this one and have to back off of amnesty in order to save their worthless hides. They didn't want to take that chance so they bugged out. More than anything else that has happened it gives me hope that the pragmatic business types have decided to sit back and wait until they see what will happen. We can make a difference but only if we keep the pressure on. Now to get rid of that turncoat mayor in Greeley. He thinks he is protected by the large population of students. I say let's see.

Hospitals are closing, prices are out-distancing wage increases, the so-called unskilled American worker is being squeezed, Americans are being killed, raped, robbed and beaten by illegal aliens in our country. We allow people in who have no respect for our laws and therefore our country. Immigration? Yes! But those who desire to become Americans who first respect and obey our laws. Some have stolen identities, others have not. The desire to treat them all as clones of the worst of them is not an honest one. They come to the emergency room and get treated by people who know they are illegal. That is hardly stealing. If you don't like that practice, say so but be honest about it. They steal the jobs? His belief that he is smarter that EVERYONE around him is a filter that provides very predictable results. That same belief can be a weakness as well. Narcissism can be manipulated, if one is entertained by manipulating others, which I am not.
But I do like to piss them off from time to time. Anger brings out interesting things.

And, if his wit was as good as he seems to think, he would not bother with this forum but instead would be on the road to stardom in some cafe he would be forced to work in while waiting for someone to tell him his view of himself as a Lenny Bruce clone was a misguided mistake when he decided to go to Hollywood and get discovered and that he would be better off trying out for the part of the Absent Minded Professor.
