Embrace deportation
We are a country of laws. Those who enter our country illegally disrespect our laws and take advantage of our generous immigration system. We should no longer be passive about deportation.
Larry Rerucha, Loveland
I agree! If you can't respect our very fundamental law on immagration how can we expect you to respect all the other laws required with a free society?

Posted by jgd777 on May 11, 2007 08:36 AMHarry Reid and the beloved Democrat's want them here. Democrat's LOVE illegals!!
Reid(Democrat) is going to be pushing misguided dinosaurs John McCain and the dispicable Ted Kennedy's amnesty to congress in the next two weeks.
The politician's, will of course, sell out the American citizen, and "comprehensive reform" (AKA Amnesty) will be passed with very little argument.
I for one will NEVER accept these dishonorable Mexican's as citizen's. They will get an UNDESERVED amnesty they have broken the law to obtain.
Some turn-coat Republican's will vote with the Democrat's.
REMEMBER THIS AMNESTY IN 2008 WHEN YOU GO TO THE POLLS!!!!!
The only thing that will happen if they pass the amensty, alot of blood shed in the streets. Laugh, but the war within the US is going to happen, the writing is on the wall. The US Citizens will stand up against illegal aliens being granted amensty, will stand up against the government and revolt. The ones laughing now, when this happens won't be laughing then
Posted by P on May 11, 2007 09:01 AMEven more so, we need to punish SEVERLY anyone who hires illegals. There is a rather large movement to police this problem. I personally have reported over 20 companies and look forward to reporting many more. A huge grassroots push for tougher penalties for this scum is underway.
Posted by truthy on May 11, 2007 09:17 AMP nobody is going to stand up for anything over 50% of the working public have some type of goverment job. Follow the money. why pass more "laws" which will not be inforced

Posted by JW on May 11, 2007 10:30 AMWeren't 3 of the six arrest in the Fort Dix plot illegal aliens? I heard they also had a long list of run ins with the law but never spent a day in jail and never were deported. Even the cops in the neighborhood knew of the illegal status but said contacting ICE wasn't their job.
Posted by KW on May 11, 2007 11:19 AMHow about federal legislation that empowers ALL local law enforcement officials (from state bureaus of investigation and the AG down to local sheriffs and cops) to be mandated to assist ICE in reporting and detaining ALL illegals. If these local agencies do not want to cooperate, ALL of their federal tax money for their programs and equipment is held back. The feds do this with highway funds as blackmail on a lot of stuff. Let's do it here and see how fast these "sanctuary cities and towns" realize where their bread is buttered. If they want to not cooperate - fine, then NO $$$$$.
Posted by Michael on May 11, 2007 11:49 AMNor should we be passive about securing our borders using whatever means is necessary.
Posted by QBT on May 11, 2007 01:04 PMP..... Your remarks are scary! I have heard that there is a movemment going forth if an amnesty is passed. American's taking up arms to oust the illegals? That will be a sad day indeed! If only the politician's would listen to the people before blood is shed.
The Democrat's and Republican's are
playing with fire here.
In CA some local areas have passed local law that says local police are NOT to check if the person is legal
Posted by JW on May 11, 2007 03:01 PMThe rule of law for some strange reason dosn't apply to illegals....they even want ICE to stop doing their job -retire. Can you believe that? The adacity.! I agree Massive deportation!
