Heartbroken
Thursday, May 24 at 12:01 AM

Thank you, Rocky Mountain News, for putting Chandler Grafner’s story on the front page (“Cries for help went nowhere,” May 10). I cannot tell you how heartbroken I am over such a tragedy. My heart goes out to the little boy who is now dead and all the suffering he endured before his death.

You better get used to your heart being broken every week.
Every week there seems to be another child killed by their parent, gaurdians, foster family or mother's and their boyfriends.
The Midyettes in Boulder brutally murdered their 10 week old ,brought him to the hospital, walked out and lawyered up. The boy had 48 broken bones and a fractured skull.Mary Lacy did nothing for over a year until Bill O'reilly lit a fire under her rear and made it national news because she is a buffoon. Then she called a Grand Jury. They only charged them with child abuse resulting in death. Not 1st degree murder so they made bail.

Colorado could care less about the children. they have a solid track record of letting sexual predators out even if they are deemed violent out of prison after very short sentences. They let parents and boyfriends kill their children and justice is elusive and drawn out.

Children are less important in this state. They are more concerned about planting trees and caring for them than our children.

Between 32 and 42 thousand children die of starvation every day; however, "Go forth and multiply." The pope recently visits South America advising the peasant on birth control to which the woman shakes her finger at him and shouts: "You no playa da game you no maka da rules."
