In the Rocky Mountain News Wed., May 2, 2007 edition, the sub-heading in the upper left hand corner of the front page reads: “Thousands in Denver display pride.” Pride in what? Their illegal alien status? On page 28, the sub-heading reads: “Demonstrators seek end to raids, path to legal status.” The reason for the raids is that the targets of the raids are here ILLEGALLY! Why should you be granted legal status when you entered the country ILLEGALLY! If you enter and occupy my house ILLEGALLY, and then refuse to leave, why on earth would I grant you legal status to live there.
When will ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION cease to be the 800 pound gorilla in the room?

Now that I think about it I guess you all are correct. I've been narrow minded and I really don't know what I'm talking about. Please forgive my ignorance. I should have realized that people like me are tearing this country apart. I will no longer support the illegal mass invasion at our southern border.

Why are we raiding workplaces for criminals when all we have to do is back the wagons up to "demonstrations of pride" like this one? Seems much easier and a bit cheaper.

well, another fine example of illegals and their actions was reported today. A doctor from Mexico illegaly living in Nogales AZ was arrested and indited for assisting drug smugglers and other illegals by surgically removing their fingerprints. Wow, what a great example of such a group of people, "we may be illegal, but we are not criminals". Didn't Nixon step down and his last words "I AM NOT A CRIMINAL", wasn't he facing impeachment for his actions?

Prior I asked if illegal immigrants could not be denied anchor babies pursuant to the poison fruit doctrine and response was that such doctrine was used in criminal law. Aren't the illegal aliens criminals? Me, your friendly deicide?

The "poison fruit" doctrine has to do with evidence - either material evidence, such as a weapon, etc., or information and/or testimony - secured as result of a faulty warrant; or of search, siezure, or discovery made beyond the scope of a properly executed warrant; or as the result of coercion, illegal eavesdropping (wiretap); or failure to properly Mirandize at the time of taking the information from a suspect.

It could not apply to the Constitutional provision covering the birth of children and their citizenship. The allegation of being "illegal" as an individual - or even the conviction of a felony - cannot be passed on to a child, by reason of the Constitutional prohibition of any "Bill of Attainder".
