anderson runs scared from the question, spewing things like "go pound your pud"
and "you're not formulating an argument"...ect.

Well, my argument is this; an overwhelming majority of American CITIZENS are fed up with illegal immigrants and recognise that before any meaningful reform can happen, the borders must be tightened up.

More border security was promised in the 1986 amnesty deal, and it was all a big LIE. Because of that lie, here we are in the same place 20 years later.

Why should I, or anyone else believe people
like Ted Kennedy when he's telling the EXACT
SAME LIES?

I'd probably agree with many of your complaints about this legislation - but it's ignorant to try to turn it into a partisan issue.

I enjoy your candor, but couldn't resist mentioning that while so many of us like to rail against the U.N., the real driver behind fluid movement of capital, and the immigration/wage-depression problems that results, is the G8.

The U.N. is a cute side show, but really, why would the global economic leaders (and the monied class they represent...btw, that ain't any of us on this board) ever consider allowing a 3rd world country to have a semi-equal vote on matters that would -really- affect them. It's no different than America itself -- capitalism tolerates democracy, only up to a point.

I'd say that's pretty spot on.....

Solution: 1. Bush's assassination of Saddam is complete: Mission accomplished; declare victory and get out. 2. Assign the troops to the border(s); don't create anymore immigration laws; let them stay without amnesty and repeal the 1984 law granting free medical; deport the criminals (those already incarcerated); deny those staying American citizen rights just as Mexico denies Americans Mexican rights. Enforce the border.
