Made right decision
Hallelujah! I knew that I had made the right decision in signing up for “Team Rudy” and now my intelligent choice has been confirmed: James Dobson has declined to endorse Rudy Giuliani for president.
Giuliani is intelligent, courageous, self-confident and has demonstrated great leadership skills and will make a truly great president. He is also the only candidate on the GOP side who can beat any of the Democrats. In my opinion, Dobson does not even come close to demonstrating any of Giuliani’s skills, but he is a dangerous demagogue and the sooner the GOP drops him and those of his ilk the more elections it will win. Go, Rudy!

His personal life is Caligula like
Posted by on May 29, 2007 07:31 AMI am glad that Bobbie is happy about backing Rudy in the election but he can not beat the Democrat in the general election. As mayor of New York Rudy did some very anti-gun things. He tried to sue gun manufactures for no reason.Everything he did was anti-gun.You might include gun owners in with Dobson.
Posted by Ron on May 29, 2007 07:34 AMRudy is the genius who decided to put the NYC emergency response headquarters in the World Trade Center, AFTER it had already been the target of one terrorist attack. Who knows how many peoplel lost their lives because of this incredible blunder? Leadership like this we don't need.
Posted by Docjay on May 29, 2007 08:04 AM"His personal life is Caligula like," and I don't know who is being referenced: Rudy or James; however, since it is up for grabs, I will reference Falwell. Without transition, I extend an INVITATION:
I recognize what the bulk of readers are thinking: "Deicide Grimes is brilliant, however: don't fall into this canard (a deliberately misleading fabrication). The reality is that I steal a lot; I even steal from Sharon: Risen Ape. I steal from dictionary.com: Lisl is a "murderess," says Mike: Defined: To kill another human unlawfully, to kill brutally or inhumanly, to kill or slaughter inhumanly or barbarously is murder. Mike is reduced to name-calling while ex-boyfriend laughs at the saga his conduct created. I chide Mike.
Actually, I am a manager of a cemetery called Mythology where gods are dieing to get into. You will find 3 freshly dug graves not for the Trinity but for the god of Abraham, the jealous, genocidal, priggish and self-contradicting tyrant of the bible and the Koran who could not exist because no god can be that cruel. This includes the transmogrified Jew from the "loins of David" who should be grateful that Allah did not turn into a monkey, him being Jewish, the same Allah that creates virgins without menses, stools or urine for his male slaves (women get nothing).
INVITATION: You can meet this Risen Ape deicide manager of Mythology cemetery on June 2 between 12 and 3 Saturday at the People's fair where he will park your bicycle with Keith saying: "Oh, yah, brilliant my ___. You fill in the blank lest I be stricken.
I don't care if you are Jewish, Muslim or Christian: The graves are for gods not duped humans. I'll park your bike as an old guy with white hair wearing a blasphemous tee shirt horny enough to be a TV evangelist.
Posted by Richard Grimes Risen Ape: Deicide r22037@yahaoo.com on May 29, 2007 10:31 AMI'd be pretty comfortable taking the "opposite of what Dobson would do/think" approach to most things in life. At least that would keep me from being a raving hypocritical hate-monger. And, as I now remember, out of the world of crystal meth and gay massage too!
And Richard, what the hell? Are you trying to not make any sense at all? If that is actually your stream-of-consciousness, then nice work holding a keyboard long enough to type.
Posted by shaupeen on May 29, 2007 11:58 AMHell, nice work not gnawing on the keyboard and shorting out the computer with your drool, Richard.
Posted by Neadrathug on May 29, 2007 12:00 PMI'm all for Rudy being the Repugnant nominee (being a liberal myself).
Should this pro-choice, pro gun control candidate make it out of the primaries, the christ crowd will stay home on election day, and the Rs have proven they can't win without the christers.
Plus, as a former New Yorker, I know Rudy to be a fascist and an a$$hole, which will be plainly revealed in the debates.
Since the Shrub has shown that the "have over for dinner" factor is supremely important to the American electorate to the detriment of competence, Rudy's personality will turn off many thinking of voting for him.
Bring it on!!
Posted by Yo Mamma on May 29, 2007 12:45 PMAnother aspect of Rudy's tenure as mayor and photo op exploiter of 9/11 - is that Rudy along with Bush's EPA ,via ex New jersey govenor, Whitman - ignored actual EPA readings of the toxic quality of the lower manhatten air - sending the actual brave and courageous workers into the poisonous atmosphere without proper protection for their own safety. Now as those people suffer from illness contracted during the process of clearing debris from the area . Guliani louds his false credentials as hero, and ignores his responsibility for casuing further harm to the residents of his fair city.
Throw in Taser conflict of interests, the kerrick debacle (related to guliani's Taser stockholdings and you have the perfect GOP candidate, set to serve corporate interests and profits at the expense of citizens.
Is there an honest canddate in the repblican ticket at this pont?? Ron Paul perhaps - but the rest are pale dull and lack imagination. Another perfect fit for the GOP.
