NBC’s twisted decision
I am disgusted and disappointed that NBC decided to air the Seung-Hui Cho video. The media are as sick and twisted as Cho, the killer, to fulfill his wishes by showing the video. It did nothing but give martyrs ammunition to become more angry and aggressive in acting out these random killings and terror.
What a disrespectful thing to do to the families of the victims. I do not want to see or know anything further about his motivations or mental illness, and I am sure the victims’ families share my feelings.
If it is what he wanted, to be known and remembered, it is what should not be done. The media is to blame for fueling these random acts of violence in our country.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to learn as much about Cho's motivations as we can? Or should we just bury our heads in the sand?
