No guns, few worries
Guns don’t kill people. People with guns kill people, especially if they are emotionally disturbed. But emotionally disturbed people without guns do not kill people (at least not quickly and efficiently). And emotionally disturbed people are not eligible to serve in a “well-regulated militia.” But it is sure easy in the United States for an emotionally disturbed person to legally acquire a gun and kill people.

we'd all be better off, right?
An emotionally disturbed person can do just as much damage w/o any particular weapon. One could drive a car through some student rally for instance. I wish people could stop focusing on inanimate pieces of metal and focus on behaviours (sin).
