Now that that the Post and the News have crucified Larry Manzanares in the court of public opinion, it is hoped that you will turn your attention with equal zealousness to reporting the criminal activity going on right under our noses, in the current U.S. administration.
Outing a CIA agent, extreme rendition, torture, bungled wars, lying to Congress, illegal spying on American citizens, bogus firing of attorneys, and the murder and death of over 600,000 innocent Iraqis certainly warrants the front-page treatment that you gave the Larry Manzanares case! It is no wonder newspapers are failing — they’re turning into tabloids, fiddling while Rome burns — aiding and abetting the REAL criminals in this world, by failing to garner the courage to report the truth — a duty that is incumbent on the 4th estate. Maybe you should all rethink your mission statement.

Lynn, the point I think your missing is that you are not a "real journalist." Only "real journalists" understand what issues are important, and what issues are just partisan bashing. The question we have to ask you, since you brought up all of these valid facts about what Bush has done, is ask, "Why do you hate Bush so much for no reason?"
If only you could look past your partisan obsession with the truth, you would realize that Paris Hilton's jail time is much, much more important than some silly little crimes that the President might have committed. In fact, it's so much more important, that no "real journalist" would even think of trying to ask any meaningful questions of our Fuhrer.

R. A. Cook strangled a 69-year old music teacher during a burglary and burglarized and damaged in the tens of thousands of dollars that which he couldn't carry. He attempted to burn alive other inmates by setting fire to their cells. In 1982 he is sentenced to 15 years to life for murder and paroled in 2000. His rap sheet is enormous.
Cook is now behind bars awaiting trial for the strangling of 24-year-old Alyssa Heberton , an employee with the Colorado Geological Survey.
Those against the death penalty can be considered accomplices in the death of the young woman. Had Cook been executed, she'd be alive today.
Prisons are over-crowded. Execute those where the evidence is conclusive. Of course, this won't happen: The five terrorist catholic Supremes would rather pilot their craft into the Wall that keeps separate America's Siamese twin: Church and State: (I just had to get in that dig) with their hand out for Bush's faith initiative $$$ so the pope can settle claims against his pedophile priests which he transfers from diocese to diocese. Hooray for the new mandate for services in Latin so the laity can't understand what the beastly pedophile is saying.

Why would the Rocky want to illustrate on its front page such utter nonsense?
I am a Hugh fan of capital punishment for murderers like R.A. Cook, Ted Bundy, etc.
Let the pot heads and other drug minnows out. Fill the prisons with child sex offenders.
Make some sense of our legal system.
