Bush & immigration
Does this Bush, for whom I voted twice,
Where do I go to take back my last two votes for president?
This letter has not been edited.
Hey JM your not the only one that bought into this clown in the white house. I also voted for him twice and I want my money i donated back. I guess a comassionate conservative is one that expexts the working class to pay for all this compassion. Youre also right about Salazar, he cares more for mexicans than Colorados workers, we can just go to hell as far as he's concerned
Posted by FW on July 6, 2007 02:14 PMits easy Schell, you have to go to Mexico and ask the president of Mexico and the worlds richest man, also a Mexican, he even beat out Gates. They are the ones who own and controll Bush and Salazar and the like it seems now.
Posted by Nick on July 6, 2007 02:14 PMI find it heartening that two people on this thread have admitted that their vote was a mistake.
I didn't vote for Bush, but I've made mistakes with my vote before.
It's an admirable quality to admit a mistake. If only Bush himself would make the realization...
Posted by Charles B on July 6, 2007 06:11 PM12 Million? Try 20 million at least. This is from a report by Bear and Stearns like 4 years ago.
Posted by Ben on July 6, 2007 06:49 PMMaybe we do not see the big picture. Perhaps by legalizing all these identity thieves and welfare babies we are going to make a play for all the natural resources in Mexico. A country that is rich in gold, silver, copper, oil among others. If we make these people citizens (which would soon be 3/4ths of mexico) we can make a claim to all the land south of the boarder. Then make the United States economically a player in the world economy again.
just think of the even cheaper flights and better quality of vacations in centralm America if this should happen
Schell... yet again?? Good grief, doesn't this gibronni have a life?
Posted by Snyder on July 6, 2007 08:57 PMI can't say that I regret my votes for President Bush. His "Go fight the war but be nice about it" and "Make all the illegals into citizens" policies disgust me. However, compared with the front-runner alternatives, Bush is still better than the socialist anti-American demonrats he ran against. We need a true conservative in 2008. Republicans are not longer my friends, but democrats are still my enemies.

Posted by Truth on July 6, 2007 09:56 PMAs a woman, I have thought the Republican party was my enemy for years. Nothing has hanged on that score.
When Republicans say smaller government, they mean the part that helps us or oversees working conditions.
When they say lower taxes, they mean for corporations.
When they say we need foreign workers, they mean at dirt poor wages.
They always mean the opposite of what thy say.
Posted by Sharon B. on July 6, 2007 11:02 PMBush has demonstrated that a second term president with nothing to loose is not neccessarily a good thing. His pro ILLEGAL adgenda that favors lawbreakers over those who enforce the law ( immigration officers in jail for upholding the law).
This is a classic example of the old phrase buyer be ware. We reap what we sow. Blamming the administration is just a scapegoat and looking for an easy fall guy. The majority of the problem is in the lame ducks elected to office as Senators and Congressmen. A voter/CITIZEN revolution is at hand. Looking at all the candidates that have stepped foward leaves one with chills running up and down the spine.
We need to put forth candidates and elect those who will do the job hired for. That is to represent the citiznes not foriegn interests.
Posted by on July 7, 2007 07:05 AMI regret both votes for Bush. Had I known he would sell out the United States to Mexico, he would not have had my vote. The sad thing is there was no one else and by the looks of it 2008 isn't going to be any different. Bush represents the illegals and he is throwing countless numbers of American lifes away by being in Iraq, and the only reason he is doing so is for more power and more money.

Posted by FW on July 7, 2007 07:49 AMJust for the record, the following post is a phony; once again someone is trying to pretend they are me and share in my limelight; what they don't realize is that just because you use the name Elvis Presley doesn't mean you can sing like him:

Charles B, you are missing my point. The ONLY reasons I am regretting my votes for Bush is his sell out to Mexico and kissing up to their country and the illegals. I support his going against Saddam and all but he is mistaken not giving the military full reign in fighting a war the way its supposed to be fought. The differance between WW II and Vietnam or here iss this, in WW II, we fought and killed the enemy until they weere tired of dying and didn't want to fight anymore. In Vietnam and here, we are only trying to contain the enemy, and that may win us battles but will not win a war.
Posted by Nick on July 7, 2007 08:03 AMTruth,
I don't think anyone actually thought that those screeds were yours. But, even here on this little website, we see evidence of today's most troublesome crime, identity theft.
I wonder how the lead off letter writer, Bruce Baker, would view this; especially in light of his remarks about most of the posters here being, "nasty thugs". Maybe like the idea that "a little lie under oath isn't really perjury" that Baker's first, and biggest, fan was propounding earlier? The old, "If I do/say it, it's all right; but if YOU do/say it - or dare to criticize or contest it - you're all wrong, and a 'nasty thug' to boot", seems to be the premise du jour.
Ain't open forums fun!

Don't forget about media sedition, compare a newspaper from 1944 with one from the past few years, it becomes fairly obvious why the Allies would lose WWII if it were fought today.

Posted by on July 7, 2007 02:46 PMI think Taco Bell is responsible for the influx of illegals.
They keep telling everyone , " Run for the Border! "
Just a joke people so don't start freaking out.
