Lorenzo A. Trujillo of Boulder, general counsel to the Hispanic National Bar Association and assistant dean at the University of Colorado Law School writes:
Judge Manzanares death is truly a tragedy for all of us. His life was a tribute to his efforts for a better world through his public service and selfless giving to others. His accomplishments stand as a model for all of us to follow. Responsible and ethical standards should be the benchmark of professional behavior. The lust for sensationalism represents overzealous abuse. A fundamental principle of our American legal system is that a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Trial by the public court of the media should never be the standard of our American culture. This letter has not been edited.

And "selfless giving" to himself! Oops he got caught! Bet he was surprised!
I certainly don't want my children to follow him as a "model" of anything! yikes!!!
If the Jeffco D.A. didn't have a decent case against him they would have vacated the charges. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!
