Making it hard to back an amnesty program

I recently attended an air show. It was great! It didn’t start well for me, though.
You see, they played the national anthem to start things off.
Nothing surprising there, except ... there was a group of Hispanic people just off to one side. They were talking. I never heard a word of English, and when everyone else stopped and turned toward the flag, removed hats, and stood very quietly, I thought these people would stop.
However, these folks just kept right on talking, laughing and wearing their cowboys hats.
Even if they didn’t speak our language, they could understand what was going on; the least they could do was to shut up.
You would think they would realize something was going on when everyone stopped what he or she was doing and removed cover, but not these folks!
Sure makes it hard to go along with any amnesty program.

Arizona just enacted a law making it illegal for employers to hire criminal illegal Mexicans, Hindu-Indianns, etc., much to the chagrin of their "dixiecrats". We should follow suit. However, US Sen. Benedict Arnold Salazar (surrender monky, communist-sider, and draft dodger) and (D-Punjab) Gov. Ritter will do their best to undermine those efforts. Illegal Mexicans are Salazar's favorite (#1 traitor and #1 treasoner in congress) and Ritters is Indian illegals in Dataman, Inc., located in DTC. When I saw those Mexican flags and Che banners during the "marches", those images burned into my memory. They were expressing something other than wanting to be an "American".

Funnier still, you go to an Asian restaurant,
and they can speak passable English.

Went to the Rockies game last nite, pissed me off to see the bi-lingual signs there, like the international symbol for woman isn't good enough, they have to put it in freaking Spanish!!! Guess we can't afford to "alienate" the new citizenery. BUT, the patriotism of the whole nite just made me that more determined to keep involved in this issue. We must be vigilant and not forget when election time comes. Everyone, display your flags to remind "them" what country they are in and owe allegience to. God bless the USA.

We can deport 12-20 million illegal aliens, well, its not exactly deportation but real close. ENFORCE the laws regarding business hiring illegal aliens for cheap labor?????????? Pass laws like AZ, OK did.

HB2779 (AZ) signed by the Governor on Monday. Mandates law enforcement investigate claims that businesses knowingly hired illegal aliens. If true, businesses would have to fire the illegals within 3 days and sign an affidavit that it would not again hire illegals or face a 10 day suspension of a business license. A second infraction would result in permanent loss of business license.

If every state passed this one and some others, the illegal aliens would go home on their own accord.

If we stand up as Americans united it can happen, it did happen. We can be the stronger voice, we got through to the Senate, and defeated the S 1348 and S 1639 bills so why stop now.

Ammendment 14 states those born to those under the jurisdiction of the United States of America and not owing allegience to any foreign government......And I'm tired of this being used to justify the breaking of the law. This ammendment was created to define the status of Africans who were freed from slavery, thereby establishing their citizenship, and giving them the rights of citizens.
Do we have to change the freaking constitution to stop this invasion??? Come on......

The 14 Admendment is a easy way for any illegal alien that has given birth numerous times at the Americans expense on American soil to defend why they are still living here illegally. So to answer your question, yeah, unfortunately it will probably have to be rewritten and it will probably have to written in Spanish (or draw graphic pictures) also to make the illegal aliens understand they don't have a leg to stand on.

The other day I read about how the farm subsidies here in the US has led to US produce being sold in Latin-America at lower prices than it cost to produce. This in turn has led to just under a million farmers and farm-workers in Mexico and other places being unable to compete and losing their jobs. One way they cope with this misery is to come over here legally or illegally.

So if this is correct, part of fixing the illegal-immigration problem is to stop undermining their economy by using US taxes to subsidize products that get sold below cost of production.

We live in a decent quiet neighborhood in Wheatridge. The neighborhood is diverse with American Hispanics, Caucasian, Black, Asian and two or three American Indian familys.
Then, two illegal alien familys moved into a couple of two bedroom rentals that became available. Then the fun started......
LOUD Mexican music at all hours(does a tuba only have one rhythm?) Boom pa pa boom,boom,boom, boom pa pa.

Then came the cars,trucks, parked everywhere, some with no plates some not running at all. One of the women actually drove an SUV for 6 months will NO PLATES at all. Men and pregnant women came and went all the time... some just stayed with the occupants that had rented the place. Two bedrooms remember? I saw filthy mattresses being dragged into the places many times. The front yards became dumping sites with toys, budwieser bottles, used diapers, car parts, old shoes, you name it.

Their numerous children played in the middle of the street and dared cars to hit them.

If some unfornuate in the neighborhood had a garage or yard sale they would converge on them like locusts and demand items be cheapened or free. I even watched some pick up stuff and just walk away while the others kept the homeowner busy. They would walk away and laugh!!!

Our newly wed son and daughter-in law had the misfortune to live on the opposite side of one illegal family. My daughter-in law was totally embarrassed when she walked out onto her tiny back deck and saw a man and woman from next door having sex on their deck...this was in the early afternoon.

They used the tiny attached garage for car repair AND painting cars. They about choked my son and daughter out of their place two or three times. My son tried to ask them not to paint in the garage as the fumes came over to his part of the garage...since they couldn't speak a word of English they just gave him a blalnk stare and walked away. Did I forget to mention the pitbulls that moved in with them???

Know what we did to combat this?????

My son and daughter in- law brought out their heavy duty LOUD speakers placed them outside and when the illegals would play the Mexican music they would crank up and play Italian opera (soprano only) They just laughed at first, but opera can be very irritating after awhile especially if you don't have an ear for that type of music. Sorry opera fans!!!
We did this in the day time only!!

They started turning their loud music down!!!
When they turned theirs down so did we!!

Then we called zoning on them not just once or twice but on a CONSTANT basis, we complained about the junk cars,unlicensed cars on the street, trash in the yards. They would clean it up, then, start trashing it all over again.

When my daughter-in law saw the sex scene we called the police, if they were loud after ten at night we called the police, if their dogs barked after ten we called the police,if they hit their children or neglected them we called the police...many would run out the back way when the police showed up.

When they tried working on their cars in the garage or painting them we called the fire department on them....claiming toxic fumes. We involved the landlord many times(he was not thrilled) in disputes over them blocking our vehicles in our driveway.... took pictures to show cops!!

All in all we drove them just as nuts as they did us....It worked!! one family moved last November and the one that stayed is keeping a very low profile. There's more but I will just say..... Illegals don't like the police being called CONSTANTLY!!

Anyone else have a story or two about combating the trashing of our neighborhoods by illegals???

I am talking about ILLEGAL aliens ONLY not about trashy Americans(there are plenty of them also) but, they don't go to Mexico and trash up Mexicos resort hotels do they??

So save your breath all of you PRO-Illegal advocates!

I just wanna hear from American citizens with the same problems.

Bango, I have read quite a lot about American companies using Mexican land and driving the farmers out. The Chiquita (U.S. Fruit) people have done this. Also in Guatemala that company did business with the rebels to keep farmers down.

If, and I say if, all this is true, then once again, big, international businesses have hurt us all.

How do we get Americans to care why people are migrating here?

What do we show them or say to them?

History is one long sorry tale of wars and migrations because of scarce resources. If we could make the resources a lot less scarce in Latin America, if we are contributing to this condition, then the migration might stop peacefully.

My fear is street violence and Americans using vigilante justice when they think an illegal has broken the law. It will come to that. It always does.

Sadly yes, usually victims wind up attacking other victims in a misplaced effort to get relief. Americans have plenty to be angry about, they just seem to pick fellow victims as targets instead of the systems and people who really are responsible.
For most Americans, disposable income, job security, healthcare, and many intangibles to do with American leadership in science, technology, democracy, leadership, etc. have all dropped over the last 50 years. (with a few brief upturns here and there). For others the last 50 years have been a bonanza. That might be a good place to start to look.

The illegal immigrant problem is a symptom imo, not a cause.

It must be remembered folks that a lot of the illegals that come here from Mexico have lived in abject poverty for generations in their homeland so they do not know any other way. Theft, violence, filty environments are as common there as fleas on a uncared for dog. It is ignorance that is as much to blame as the arrogance that results from fear of dicovery and the envy of what all the people around them have that they feel they can never achieve. Don't take this for any justification for illegals, it's not, it's just an explanation of why some of them don't know how to act in civilized society.

I know how you feel, I am dealing with this now with a family of illegals moved in and another family down the street. The one down the street has had 5 different families since being bought...nothing like a safe house for illegal aliens just breaking into our country. The cars also have alot of different license plates...one car can have 5 different ones depending on how often Code Enforcement drives by (they drive by often, because I keep calling them LOL). They only come out a night and than cars will appear and they go through the trunk with boxes that looks like paperwork and that car disappears and a couple of months later that family is gone and a new on suddenly moves in. The other one down the street at any given time has 5 to 7 vehicles parked around any empty spots they can find and the music kicks in, the kids start screaming at an extra large decibel.
I am a good neighbor, I keep to myself and try not to cause to many problems, so I feel that if I can hear your kids or your music in my house with the windows closed.....YOU ARE TO F***** LOUD. So the battle begins and so far we are at a Mexican impass, but I will win, be sure of that...I am American hear me roar. Gives a new meaning to revolving doors, doesn't it

Pam I hear ya!!!! Keep after em! I watched as they took licence plates from one vehicle and used it on other vehicles. They did this all the time! But, the woman who drove with no plates at all just did it openly and blatently. It totally p***ed me off!!

I don't care where people come from surely they know a teeny little bit about cleanliness of some sort...if they take a shower or bathe once in awhile that tells me they have some sort of inkling about the necessity of getting clean. I don't know if they did or didn't wash themselves.
These people all wore filthy clothes and looked pretty nasty, even the women!
Who knows what they smelled like. YUK!!!

Most areas have ordinances(noise, etc.) we found out out what our area allows and took advantage of the laws.

Citizens NEED to start fighting back!!! It is not "working class" Americans that welcome these poor, down-trodden, "it's all Americas fault that they are here" invaders with open arms.
It is the business owners and politicians who live in gated communities, enjoying their particle board palaces, that never see or hear of the chaos and filth that illegals bring into American neighborhoods.

Actually the above mentioned, including the illegals, could care less!!

We boycott all companies that hire illegals!! We call our representitives and request they tighten the noose around businesses that hire these people. We are just a single neighborhood taking small steps in an effort to bring peace and quiet back into our lives.

We stay within the law and are not about to get stupid and violent with the illegals no matter how much they p*** us off!!!

Demand they make efforts to repeal of section one of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.

Demand border enforcement.

Demand the deportation to the southernmost area of Mexico, all illegal Mexicans who have committed other crimes.

Demand immediate deportation of illegals of all nationalities who commit other crimes.

Demand an end to 'sanctuary cities' and those policies.

Call I.C.E. and advise them of employers of illegals and demand they enforce current immigration laws.

Demand the Federal Government stop jerking us around with unneeded bills such as the AMNESTY bill just defeated by the will of the people.

Since all we ever hear are Demands made by those illegals and their enablers, demand change now and don't stop demanding until the will of the citizens of the USA is made reality.

First of all, I believe that, among these posters, only RickyLee is truly interested in securing ALL the borders, with no bigotry in mind. Just remember, that "securing the borders" entails:

1. Securing the totality of the US land borders to the South and the North, over three thousand miles of it,

5. Scrapping the bigoted rhetoric about "mexicans this and mexicans that". Tommy-Boy Tancredo himself today on CNN grudgingly admitted that about 45% of people in the US illegally did not illegally cross a border to get here.

These are but five initial steps that would help us achieve the commendable objective of securing the borders. Who has the gumption to want to do this? It will be necessary if we want to get ANYTHING constructive done about the conditions at the entry points to our great country.

3:50pm poster: I did not really judge you all, I merely made an observation (otherwise I would not have used the phrase "I believe that", I would instead have omitted that subordinate clause from the sentence). It is indeed a harsh observation, but I will happily admit I am wrong where applicable.
