Right to work is wrong
Tuesday, July 10 at 12:01 AM

Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier wants to have right-to- work legislation on November’s ballot (“Ballot proposal would put restrictions on union shops,” June 27). Right to work is not the solution for Colorado’s economy.
How will higher corporate earnings on the back of the working class help? If right to work passes, the working class will fail, and make Colorado’s economy worse.

I was always told that Colorado is already a right to work state. Whether or not it is I agree totally! The right to work agenda takes away rights for the workers unless you can prove discrimination. We should all have a voice even if we don't own the business. It puts people in a position of not knowing whether or not you will have a job, or rights. You can be fired just because the boss doesn't like you. It has nothing to do with how hard you work or if you are dependable or how long you have been there. The rights of workers is slowly being taken away.

UP GOES FRAZIER!!! I like Ryan Frazier, and I like even more, the sound of U.S. Sen. Ryan Frazier. Frazier is the "ONLY" politician in the entire State of Colorado, that has developed a co-ordinated Front Range emergency management and disaster preparedness plan. His plan means more folks could possibly be alive to debate the "right to work" issue.

Blacks in Colorado are lacking in representation throughout the U.S. Congress. Wayne's World Allard is all for whites and Benedict Arnold Salazar, is all for criminal illegal Mexicans being pimped and exploited (taxpayers expense), for the financial gain of the Vatican, Mexican gov't, Wal-MArt, US Chamber of Commerce, etc. Shamnesty Salazar's illegals live on Border St. (MEXIORADO)

We lose at the state gov't level too, because (D-Punjab) Gov. Ritter has joined Hillary Clinton's ranks and posse, and their favorite criminal illegal aliens are Hindu-Indians. Ritter's illegals live in Dataman, Inc. in DTC. As if blacks don't already have it hard enuff, Ritter is importing racist Indians, that are stealing jobs from black disabled Vietnam veterans.

Ritter's contracting and hiring of these "illegals" is wrongful appropriation of taxypayer funds, at both the state and federal levels. Federal funds fraud, waste, and abuse. He can't justify his hiring of "hi-tech" illegals, where Metro State College (MSC) illegally outsourced their hiring and recruiting function to Dataman, Inc. I was astonished when an Indian (cow) who could barely speak English, "decided", I couldn't be MSC's VP information technology. I didn't see her, Ritter, Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton, during any of my 3 deployments to Vietnam. INS hasn't defined hiring and recruiting as "hi-tech" jobs.

The state's "queen" of fiscal oversight and stewardship, Sen. Fitz-Gerald, wants to be rewarded for her failures in protecting black disabled vets' federal job and contracting benefits with a congressional seat, NOT. I pray during the '08' DNC convention, Hillary plays with Fitz and Ritter, and she will avoid our local black churches, because she means harm for us, not good.

But it worked so well for Arizona. Unions were broken up and citizens were replaced by foreign nationals. Job wages decreased for the "unskilled" positions. Of course the costs of product did not go down, but profits went up. "Right to Work" is a misnomer. It is heavily "pro-business". There are problems with unions, but they are the only voice of the worker in America. What will "Right to Work" legistlation brings us. Read about labor in the 1920's and 30's. The middle class is under attack by this bill.

Unless you like Detroit's failed Big-3 model, the right to work is the first step in the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.

If you like unions that block your right to work, then just remember that UAW stands for U Ain't Workin.'

Right to work doesn't mean the state abolishes unions. AZ is actually a good example of how being a right to work state protects workers from being forced to join unions.

Tom shouldn't confuse the illegal immigration problem that drives down wages, especially in border states, with the benefits from being a right to work state.
