Front page stickies stink
Thursday, August 30 at 2:00 PM

Pam Faro of Broomfield writes:

Stop putting those ad stickers on the front of the newspaper! Please!
Previous letter-writers have correctly pointed out the inappropriateness and turn-off factor of having ads anywhere on the front cover. Additionally, when you peel the sticker off in order to actually see (imagine that!) what headline or picture the editor has chosen to put on the front page, it leaves an annoyingly sticky residue.
Bad choice to have started with these sticky ads in the first place; please now make the good choice to respect your readers and stop.

READER COMMENTS

Number eight (8) complaint about the stickies in the last five (5) days. Does anyone really think the RMN gives a damn about readers?

If the stickies bother you so much, just pull them off and throw them away. Stop harping on a subject that you have no control over. Next thing you'll be spouting off about will be all the other ads in the paper that get in the way of news.

Yea, my 4 year old son now gets stickers every Saturday morning. He is using them to stick onto my windows and the refrigerator. Thanks Rocky Mtn. News for the new decorative appliqués in my house. Please feature me in your Home section so I can show these off! They are really fabulous to 4 year olds. The rest of us just want them to go away.
