High speed chases
Monday, August 27 at 12:49 PM

Michael Amdurer of Lakewood writes:

high speed chases/innocent victims. Wed 8/22/2007
It’s pretty simple to me — if someone is driving at dangerously high speeds pursued by the police, disobeying traffic laws and endangering the lives of innocent victims, they simply have no rights. Unless they have hostages, either they stop, or the police blow them away before they kill other innocent lives — and maybe draw a few years in jail for vehicular manslaughter. It’s the same as people pointing guns at your family — would you want your loved ones killed by some guy who just stole an SUV and thinks he can outrun the cops?

Yes, I firmly believe in executing people for traffic violations!

Fresh,

A criminal driving recklessly at high speeds is just as dangerous as some idiot standing out in the street shooting a pistol or rifle. If you can't get either one to stop then deadly force is justified.

Dirty Harry, how are you? You haven't written or called; we felt unprotected and exposed to the dirt bag killers in society. Thank heaven you're back to protect our day, and make your day!

PS Try not to hit any innocent bystanders as you empty that big old .44 at the dirt bag's car -- too much paperwork you underdtand.

I agree,
If these "runners" fail to yield to a police officers Lights and Sirens for more than 2 minutes or they blow one red light at more than 10 miles per hour the police should be able to use lethal force to end the chase. This will make all of these idiots that turn our streets into Nascar think twice next time they think they can outrun the police.

It’s simple, who ever runs from the cops and kill someone in the process, put them on deathrow for intentional homicide. I bet the liberals would be against that, since they usually there to protect the criminals, but not the innocent.

The question should be why do the run. The reason is simple they know that if they continue to run and break more laws the chances are that the police will stop thier pursuit. If the police stop chaseing them they can get away. This is what the bleding hearts want , well that is untill someone in thier family falls victem. Then they demand to know why the police did not sdo anything to prevent this.

If the police were to use more aggresive tactics and the criminals did not get such light sentances. then maybe there would not be as many crimes commited. But hey who cares as long as it does not effect me and it puts it to the man, right?

A liberal is nothing more than a conservative that hasn't been mugged yet!
