John McCain
Monday, August 6 at 2:13 PM

Grant D. Cyrus of Boulder writes:

I really do hope that ONE good thing comes out of the inevitable decline of and fall of John McCain’s run for the Presidency. And that is that it shows that people in general are sick and tired of war and the lies and deception of the Bush Administration he’s chosen to support and identify with. Additionally there are others, some xenophobic (they know who they are), some not who absolutely detest his support of the failed immigration policy. Some say it takes guts to stand up for your position and I would agree but when you stand up for something the majority of sane American people vehemently, passionately disagree with you about then you’re more of a what...isolated fool?
Too bad about John McCain because he seems like such a decent person in so many ways, but then I’m talking about that great guy I knew in 2000 before he sold out or is it in to Bush and his Conservative Extremists.

I know another great thing about the decline of and fall of John McCain’s run for the Presidency. It is that John McCain will not be President!

Please save us all from the 'Peoples Republic of Boulder'. We really need to build a border fence to keep them all in.

Yeah, back in 2000 I thought McCain was a great potential candidate. However, it has become just sad to see the man who used to call his tour bus the "Straight Talk Express" and present himself as a principled alternative to the dishonest politicians become so steeped in B.S. For me the biggest metaphor was the "Baghdad Stroll." I realized then that this man had become the exact thing he screamed he wasn't just years before.

It's funny how we never learn. No matter the political party, every new candidate presents himself/herself as the no-more-lies-throw-the-fat cats-out reformer. But it only takes a year or two for them to become the fat cats.

Sheesh, it's enough to make one cynical about politics.

Can you imagine what a nasty, angry, old, grouchy, stinking, foaming-at-the-mouth, fart he is going to be in 2-3 years? He'll need a rabies shot every 15 minutes between his green vomit surges.

Oh is it not just hilarious when someone who cannot spell, write a coherent and proper sentence and has the grammar of a five year calls others 'dumocrats. Yes 6:23 p.m. I am writing about you for I have such doubts about your intelligence I feel that I must point this out.

Thanks Sean. These illiterates who want to call Democrats stupid are the funniest reads on this forum.

McCain made his bed with Bush and now has to live with the stench of his decision. He reminds me of the ugly girl who wants to be a cheerleader so bad that she'll sleep with anyone who says they will vote for her. McCain is the very definition of pathetic politics.

If McClain was ever elected he would prove worse than Reagan was at the end. Senilty and alzheimers are already setting in. How old is he, like 100? The guy is way too old, no self respecting corporation would let someone his age run it, let alone run a country.
