Mike Littwin
“ It’s the 14% for Tancredo who worry me", says Mike the Lip. in the Rocky, (Aug 13).” Whoa There. I say it’s the 65% of the Colorado voters who put Tom in office you should worry about Mike.” Please remember the 65% I’m speaking of are the ones that want illegal immigration stopped, not just talked about, but stopped. And, continue your hate Colorado motives and you may go the way of Ward Churchill; out the back door screaming racism, you’re unfair, I’m innocent and anything else a minority screams when their sub- mediocre talent has been challenged. Both of you are nin-com-poops of the first rate and both of you are examples of no talent cry-babies. Come to think of it you could even enter a look-alike contest and come out winners.
In all seriousness however, your anti-Colorado words and motives should not go unchallenged, Mr. Littwin. It’s beyond me why the Rocky, who has in the past been more fair and balanced, keeps such a leftist on the payroll. There are plenty of those on the Rocky’s sister’s newsprint and you would be in choice company if you could be transferred there.

Mike Littwin has most of the tools required to be a news COLUMNIST. He's very well read, writes extremely well and in depth, and relates to his topics very closely. He's only missing common sense and a sense of reality (having his heart out on his sleeve must affect the blood flow to the brain).
Let's see; he's gone four for six, or averaging .666. Heck, in the major leagues he'd be an all star at the plate!
You have to figure that with the scaling down and cost cutting the Rocky's going through they are keeping only the writers who will work on the cheap -- Littwin, Johnson, Griego, Campos. No real newspaper could stand the embarrassment of having all four of these clowns on their payroll at one time.
Posted by on August 17, 2007 03:00 PM65% of the Colorado voters who put Tom in...
65% of voters in a single Congressional district, not Colorado, voted for Tancredo. Please don't assume the rest of Colorado shares the values of this district,
Posted by on August 17, 2007 05:31 PMYou are right, a district where the people actually work, pay taxes and contribute to society. Why would Denver or Boulder support that... Why, that would disturb their socialist agenda.
Can't have that now, can we?
Let's put illegal immigration up to a vote in this state. Let's see how close to 65% or more that we get. Don't forget, we know how Salazar voted on the amnesty program. Make sure we keep bringing it up when he tries for re-election.....
Posted by Dravur on August 17, 2007 07:55 PMDravur,
Right on! I will never forget how he voted, I will tell thousands. Tokyo Mike is like squash. A little goes a long way.
Last time I was in Boulder, and Denver, people were working. Hell, they even looked wealthy. Meanwhile, Loony Tunes Tancredo is bobbing all over the nation, spending more on travel than most Members--all on the public dole--while he stumps for a national office and neglects the state and district he is suppose to represent.
Posted by Oliver on August 18, 2007 07:06 AMWrong oliver! the more places tancredo can get the message out of ENFORCE THE LAW. The more he represents his district. A district that is proud to say we have Tom Tancredo as represenative in Congress. Tancredo has represented his district well in the past and continues to do so. He may be out stumping but he still makes the votes and is counted on the record for it.
He does not give hate speach but tells the truth on the immigration issue. He is also leading the charge in the house on trying to free those two politically sentanced Boarder Agents who were DOING THIER JOB.
He may lack tact in many opinionbut his words sound true.
Posted by on August 18, 2007 07:32 AMTom Tancredo is admired by millions. He does not just TALK about illegal immigration but he shares his plan with the people. The other dummies we have as leaders will get up and say " We need to change the immigration laws". DUH. How? They never say, or they don't mention anything about immigrations at all, worried about saving their butts at the polls.
Tom Tancredo cares about the rights of LEGAL citizens of this country. He is not going after legal immigrants, just working out a plan to stop ILLEGAL entry and the consequences that we all have to swallow as a result of it. The huge drain on social services, the cost of educating their children, the drain on our health care system, wages driven down and jobs taken from legal citizens---the list goes on and on.
He's right on target but some people are so blind! He is trying to save the USA as we have known it in the past, but some are so bent on being politically correct that we are now drowning in this problem that this government's neglect has caused.
As I said in a previous post, ILLEGALS are flocking to this country, refusing to obey the law, refuse to assimilate, creating THEIR old country here and we are supposed to lay back and watch the country we were born into, or worked to be a legal citizen of ,become something foreign to us.
All you Tancredo haters can watch this country and all it stands for go to hell while criminal invaders destroy it little by little, We not only have the hard workers coming, we have the dopers, gang bangers, radicals, sex offenders, bums and other riff-raff coming in hoardes. Read the paper! I know that illegals don't commit all the crimes, but read the papers, listen to the news! How many lives did not have to be taken, children molested and many, many other crimes if they had not come here? Terrorists are here because we have not been diligent in checking them out. They say they are here on student visas, etc. and while we go about our daily lives they are plotting our demise.
WAKE UP! You have someone fighting for you. Tom Tancredo deserves all of our respect and more.

You have nothing more constructive to say?
What are you, in the 7th grade?
Posted by c on August 19, 2007 08:34 AMI don't understand why Littwin, Griego and Johnson are listed as news columnists while the news has an opinion section? Can someone explain this?

Skinflint budgets requires an effort to make a silk purse out of a sows ear rather than silk. At the RMN they are attempting to pass off as hard hitting investigative and news reporting emotionally biased opinions of agenda driven people with decent writing skills.
The exception to that is the inclusion of Campos. In that case the writer probably works for no pay and has hoodwinked the editorial staff with his pseudo intellectual drivel derived from obsessive mental masturbation into thinking they have at least one genius on staff. Almost as "good as" having Ward Churchill on staff.
