Nancy Pelosi
Friday, August 10 at 2:00 PM

Richard Doran of Parachute writes:

With Congress at a “politically correct” approval rating of 3% (which translated means DISAPPROVAL by 97%) on how it is handling the war on Iraq, it seems to me that House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, deserves recognition for her contribution to this deplorable fact of life in our national political scene.
Last Sunday night on the Fox 1/2 Hour News, Dennis Miller’s segment defined her leadership image perfectly, when he said - With Nancy Pelosi third in line for the presidency, atheists all across America are shouting “God help us” - a touch of humor like this can certainly trigger a rude awakening regarding the incompetence of our leadership.
Can “political honesty” challenge political correctness?
God Bless America!

The saddest aspect is that while 3rd in line, she beats the heck out of the 2 corrupt incompetenst ahead of her.

I feel sorry for Dennis Miller. He chose the wrong side and his career is now to try and get a chuckle out of Faux News audience. He will never be relevant.

That 97% disaproval rating may be a holdover from the years of Republics control. The new folks need some time to undo all the bad of the Bush years.

2:59, Agreed. What has happened to Dennis Miller is just bizarre. I understand that his politics changed (that happens), but since they did he also - and I've tried to look at this objectively - seems less funny, like there's less wit but more insults, more of a mean edge to his "humor."

His guest spots on Bill O'Reilly's television show are truly cringe-inducing. The extent to what he kisses O'Reilly's ass makes me want to shower after seeing it. It's kind of like that guy at the office who, during a meeting, will brown-nose the boss so transparently that everyone else looks away uncomfortably.

whenever my eyes or ears detect utterance of "God Bless America" or "God Bless You" I'm convinced the perveyor's faith in a Jew "from the loins of David" transmogrified into an anti-Semitic Christian God has lost faith in humanity and is content to kill those "who would not that I should reign over them" in parable Luke 19:27.

The utterer has faith in a spoke amongst millions in the wheel of excrement. The fictional Jew is actually a sliver of crap gleaned from a dozen predecessors in cookie-cutter fashion. The GOP is captured by a sliver filled with a great odor. As for Nancy Pelosi:

She is one of those degenerate Catholics entwined in a great struggle to bring back the respect once enjoyed by America and now bushwhacked by one who says: "Intelligent Design should be taught alongside Evolution." Imagine: Teach the earth is flat suspended on columns anchored in miles of water. My rant could go on and on Re. religious dogma; suffice to say: "We have returned to the imperial presidency," says John Dean with Bush giveing $billions in violation of the Founder's sentiment to his fictional Jewish dork in the Middle East insulated by the Catholic cabal, the Vatican five on the Supreme Court.

Deicide Corner: "I'm a pedophile. I've been a pedophile for 20 years. Not all pedophilia is bad, and sex with boys can be healthy."

...trigger a rude awakening regarding the incompetence of our leadership...

Many of us have been wide awake re: the incompetence of the Bush administration for several years now. You must be able to sleep through anything if you are just rousing yourself now.

It is great to have a person in Hollywood like Dennis Miller who actually finds out the facts before he speaks. With idiots, crooks like reid, pelosi this country is at it's lowest.

I think Dennis Miller is a refreshing voice in the media today. His comments are funny and usually right on the mark.

One can only look at what is going on in this country and shake their head and laugh at times.

Laughter is the best medicine, and this country is sick.

Yo: I've given you an amen in the past; you don't get one today. The country, the nation, the world is not leaning; it is the individual that is leaning; he leans so far he topples and what you prescribe as being sick keeps on truckin'.

Deicide Corner: I'm horny enough to be a TV evangelist. I'll whip on down to Colorado Springs and audition for Haggard's job making my sexual orientation clear having sired five, though Haggard also sired. RG

I like Dennis Miller, but it's a fact that he's lost more jobs than the air traffic controller's union. However, the point remains that no matter how unpopular he is, he's light years ahead of Congress. Pelosi's term as Speaker of the House has seen a stunning loss of confidence. Whether that's because of the political divisions within the nation or because of her incompetence is a matter of opinion, but the fact that it exists is undisputable.

The Dems sinking approval rating is not for what they have doen, it's foer not following through and ending the War, and not impeaching Bush & Cheney. Impeach these White House thugs and their ratings will soar. Stop funding the War and their ratings will soar.
I thought Republicans hated all these 'Hollywood' types? Yet they have Miller, elect Arnold and Ronnie, and have lazy Fred as their new best potential presidential candidate????? Guess it was just more confusing Republican-speak I was hearing...
