Petro-hypocrisy
Thursday, August 9 at 1:29 PM

The environmentalists decry the drilling of any wells for gas or oil, yet every one of them continuously consumes the products from these wells, such as electricity, natural gas, plastics and gasoline. Where do they think it comes from? Maybe, like Gov. Bill Ritter, they have had a “spiritual experience.” Sounds like blatant hypocrisy to me.

Karl, This letter is a great example of taking it to the extreme, just because people are concerned about the environment and believe there may be a better ecological way of getting resources they should stop using all gas and oil products. That's like me saying you want to drill and pollute everything yet you want to go to the mountains and breath fresh air, what a hypocrit. Everything is not just black and white!

The oil companies love the environmentalists. If there weren't any environmentalists, the oil companies wouldn't be able to blame all the things they do to rip off the consumer on someone else.
The oil companies are reportedly the largest doners to the environmentalists in order to keep a stranglehold on the American public by keeping alternative energy sources (nuclear) off the table, and prohibiting drilling for oil and gas within our national boundaries.

Gov Ritter's reaction seems dangerously close to a religious experieince. I seem to remember that is one of the sins of his party. No religion shall be tolerated. Unless of course it is Islam, Hinduism, Wicca or Druid.
