I think she won.
As an American African I don’t want to be perceived as the least bit traitorous to any of those that would accuse me of such, but I think Senator Hillary Clinton was correct in her argument with Senator Barrack Obama. OF COURSE there must be some preconditions for American diplomats to engage, such as when, where and above all why we are meeting if nothing else. What kind of diplomatic issues are we to discuss? Obama could not have so spontaneously recognized this as he has no where near the grip of Realpolitic experience that Hillary possesses. It’s argued that people don’t want politics practiced in the same old way. Well yes, maybe not but when it comes to International diplomacy IN PARTICULAR one must observe, absorp and know what protocol (intricacies, subtlties and all) have been established for centuries before one simply disregards them. That’s how we got in so much trouble in Iraq in the first place. Some seriously greedy people disregarded the world and have now made Americans unsafe targets everywhere in it except maybe some poor parts of Eastern Europe and Rupert Murdochs’ Australia.
I’ve believed from the beginning in the optimism and promise of a new and profoundly different America if either one or both of these people were to be elected. I still do.
I’ve also believed from the beginning that Senator Obama was too inexperienced in Foreign Policy issues.
Finally I’ve suggested numerous times that if indeed he was not successful in winning the Democratic Presidential nomination then Hillary should immediately appoint him to an essential and important foreign post (Africa? Asia) where he can have an opportunity to ‘do his years’ in diplomatic and geopolitical observation and digestion and THEN perhaps the American Presidency. And that of course is all dependent on if Hillary can actually win this thing as well.
In another way it almost doesn’t matter for him personally because at this point and from now on until forever this man (Mr. Obama) can have anything reasonable that he wants. There is a very certain and very broad responsibility in that fate as well but I do think he understands this part well. AND he can run a second race in 2012.
P.S. Did anyone besides myself almost honestly break down and quietly cry about the fate of the Wall Street Journal today?

Which ever one wins this thing they have got some real damage control work to be done. And at the same time be able to keep us strong in the eyes of the world. This administration has put us in such a mess that one has to wonder if it can be repaired. I that goes for any Republican that may win.( God help us ) And of coarse if it is a Democrat all the fallout that comes from the Bush administrtion will all be the Democratic President that caused it. We all know from history that the effects from high government spending takes a few years to show its ugly head. And George will be down on the ranch drinking the kool-aid that all of his followers have been drinking the last 6 years pointing his finger at the poor fool in office. But he won't care Haliburton will be taking real good care of him and Dicky. Why hell they may name a aircraft carrier after him like they did for Daddy and Ronald.

Yes, the spending by George has been excessive and for that, republicans should be ashamed. But, and here is the funny part.... The dems were for MORE spending, not less. Kennedy whined that the Viagra for Oldies plan was not enough, now they want universal health care.

The Dems are abandoning blacks for a much larger social victims group they can offer handouts to and keep in perpetual poverty ,thus securing votes for generations, the Hispanic illegals.

I think my biggest issue with Sen. Clinton is that she is a Clinton. I am ready for a change from the Bush Clinton White House. How will history look upon this time frame when our dissatisfaction with our leadership brought us the same family for a minimum of 24 years?

We recovered well from the mess of Vietnam, from the worst economic times of the Great Depression, from the Civil War, and our post Revolution. I think we will be just fine, once we have new leadership.

Above all else, I would hope we begin to realize that incumbency, above all, needs to be drastically reduced to prevent the abuse of power that is running rampant in Congress. Vote for fresh blood, and let's rotate these tools out every s terms (for the Senate) or every 4 (for the House). Let's speak with our votes!

If your a democrat and want to have a chance at the white house you better kozy up to kos. According to kos at the convention today:

“There is no Jesse Jackson wing of the Democratic Party anymore. We are the center” and promised to help “cleanse” the party of those not sufficiently progressive."

Sufficiently progressive? If they think catering to the far left will get you in the white house they've obviously forgotten about the other 2/3's of the nation.

If socialism is at one end of the spectrum, America is relatively closer to the totalitarian side, with the accountable-to-no-one unitary executive pioneered by the GOP. Whenever I see those faded 'Vote Freedom First' GOP bumperstickers from less than 10 years back I'm amazed at how conservative ideology can fall so far, so fast, into these scared shills that go by the name of Republicans nowadays.

No matter how I look at it, I can't bring myself to even THINK about voting for H. Clinton or Obama....please, please tell me we will have other choices. Otherwise, I might have to move to Mexico and DEMAND my rights as an illegal immigrant. Surely they will understand I am only trying to improve my life.
