Aurora is Serf City
Monday, September 24 at 12:01 AM

To those of you residing in cities or counties with water utilities that are customer-oriented, fair and upfront with their policies — be very thankful.
In Aurora, our feudal king and his eager-to-please water baron have managed to parlay an above-average snowpack year into a ridiculously high rate for water usage by the serfs (citizens). It appears that the serfs are expected to carry the load for water projects designed to bring yet more growth into this high plains kingdom.
The current housing slowdown might stall this incessant growth, but we serfs in Aurora will still be under the thumbs of our king and his water baron.

Aurora’s water situation is another excellent reason to oust the incumbent Mayor and various Council members (Tauer, Frazier, et al).

Aurora has spent too much time focused on growth without a whit of thought given to smart growth.

The result is that long time residents wind up paying for/subsidizing the influx of newcomers, particularly through higher water rates.

Tauer (Fitz chairman) is no Robin Hood. Tauer, Bush (UCMJ-felon-40+ years AWOLee-deserter), Shamnesty Salazar, BoPeep, Owens, Brimhall, Forest Cason, James Shore, Allard, and SLC Mormon Church, all robbed black disabled Vietnam veterans in the Fitzsimons redevelopment project (federal cash cow). Federal funds fraud, waste, abuse, and RICO violations. Where is the "NAD-less" Denver Deputy USAG Troy Eid? Brimhall (former CEO UCH/UCDHSC) earmarked all of the jobs and contracts in this project for construction company owners who are members of the Mormon Church. Brimhall recently retired, and the SLC LDS (freak-a-zoids-incest), rewarded him handsomely for his fraud. They appointed Brimhall as their new Director, International Mormon Missions.

The Fitz project was a cash cow for Mitt Romney and the rest of these draft dodging sleaze balls. Mitt and his church elder have called blacks, "black devils", and they further stated, "blacks will only get into heaven if they are slaves on Earth". Strange, these LDS (k-k--k subsidiary) don't have a problem in stealing blacks vets "blood-loot". Thanks to BILLLARY for stripping blacks from the welfare roll, however, he left Mexicans (legal and illegal) and Mormons on this cash cow.

I don't know where City Councilman Frazier stands on these issues, where Mitt and his gang should be jailed in SuperMax. Ed Tauer and his pappy, both have a history of stealing jobs and contracts from black disabled Vietnam veterans. I hope Frazier isn't a member of Uncle Obama's Cabin (Congressional Black Caucus-CBC-comical blacks in congress). Or as Oprah has said, "BLACKS, SELLING OUT BLACKS".

I applied for Aurora's fire chief's job and I've gotten no response, despite the fact I have a federal 10 point veterans employment preference. I get the sneaking suspicion that Mitt and his Aurora Gang, are about to stick it to me. I served America in 3 nuclear powered submarines, 4 surface combat ships, and in 3 deployments to Vietnam. I din't see any of these racist and cowardly wankers, at anytime, while I was performing my service.

Troy Eid should stop supporting these thugs (American Taliban) and get about doing his sworn duties. He is just as vile and racist as former USAG Gonzo, who allowed these injustices to fester.

I see 40 acres is on his "Hate Whitey" rant again.

Looks like someone is off their medication. Attitudes are developed over time, and I read this same kind of rant a few years ago when James Tenant, with others, wanted to start a homeless shelter for veterans. Was angry with Gov. Owens for not assisting them in acquiring federal funds to lease or purchase property and establish operations. That was after President Bush supported legislation to request faith-based facilities to assist the homeless. A 10 point veteran preference only applys for federal positions. Voters in Colorado shot down veteran preference for city, county, or state positions 2 years ago, although they can volunteer to use preference. As a volunteer, I attended meetings of Fitzsimons Redevelopment with goal of building new VAMC to go with Veterans Nursing home. All those other hospitals, functions, buildings were financed and built with funds they acquired from donations, State funds, and other methods. Majority of funds were raised privately, although some federal funds are involved. And why does Mr. Tenant think he is qualified to start at the TOP job? Your rants are over the top of civility, and name calling raises more issue than validity of your writing. I have 26 years military service, and your ranting does not favorably impress others.

If people will remember several months back, our great City Council stated that the current residents of Aurora were going to be accessed a larger water bill to pay for the new reservoir that will supply water to new residents of East Aurora when completed. So, why are the old residents complaining about money? Once the new residents move into Aurora there will have to be an increase in taxes to pay for Fire Assistance, Police Assistance, roads and grounds upkeep and a mirrored of other costs associated with an ever increasing population. It has been shown that an increase in just your family owned homes does not support the cost associated with the increase of population. So, with that said, the water bills and everything else (tax wise) will go up as the City Council incorporates more and more land for new families. City Council will have to have their special projects in every new development. The cat boxes in the road medians, the decorative landscaping, the ever increasing open land areas all cost money to the taxpayers so this small jump in water tax is just the beginning here in Aurora. So brace yourself for the future of higher taxes and lower services and consider them the norm in Aurora, for the politicians are expensive little beasts to coddle.
