Beautiful letter, Mike! Your well-thought analysis, and clear and concise reasoning and research, have heralded a Letters Page gem! Truly, generation after generation will mark this as the day that Mike Durcan, political pundit extraordinaire, fatally wounded the Democrat Party. Monuments will be built to him. School children will awe at Mr. Durcan's intelligence and insight. Scholars will ponder exactly how Mike Durcan could create such powerful prose within the span of a commercial break from today's Broncos game.

Take that, Democrats!! You have a formidable opponent in Mike Durcan now. Your days are numbered!!

Really, Mike D, you could say a little more for clarification’s purposes.

That's all democratic comments are, just typical bathroom graffiti.....

Mike Durcan's letter is short an to the point.He is a great communicator.What Democrats have not learned is you make your point simple and to the point.As you may notice many Democrats bloviate and flatulate on their postings and say nothing.Democrats never make a point unless they lie about an issue.They write a lot of words thinking the public will not notice the lies woven in their postings.

Seriously, An American, are you a red herring? A Democrat or a liberal posing as a rightwing whack job? What is the reason you do this for? To make Republicans look stupid? To ignite angry reply postings? Or maybe just for sick and twisted fun?

Your postings have always been almost satirical in their wording. Either you are a red herring or an extremely disturbed individual.

Does Captain America consider 7:25 short and to the point? That is a priceless example of satire or Steven Colbert lite.

The recent comments by rightwingers and republicans finally make it obvious that they are pathetically out of touch with reality and their rantings and babblings should be ignored until there is some proof they have evolved beyond double digit IQs.

As you can see Democrats do not understand truth.When you tell them the truth it goes over their head.To give you an example of someone that can't understand anything,Mongoose posts that his son is a hard core Democrat and is fighting in Iraq.How stupid can you be to belong to the party that is aiding the terrorists?There is no debate on this issue.The Democrats are helping the terrorists win the war.Democrats like Mongoose do not understand common sense!!

It should be obvious that Keith and An American are star-crossed lovers, too busy mooning over each other, hoplessly in love wth each other...to ever make any logical sense.

Mongoose says he is not a Democrat but everything he posts is from the Democrat handbook.If he has not educated his son about how the Democrats are helping the terrorists he has failed in his job as a father.Most of the time Democrats lie and I think Mongoose is just doing what comes as normal to his party.Remember ,without lies there would be no Democrat party.

When someone makes ridiculous and outrageous comments, then claims to be a Democrat -- you can rest assured that it's a stupid Republican troll trying to stir up crap.

Republicans are masters of deception and misdirection. Just look at Iraq as an example. The Republicans give president carte blanche to go to war -- and now that the Dems have a one-vote majority in Congress, Republicans start pointing fingers and blaming the Dems for not stopping the war.

If the Democrats DID decide to cut off war funding, the Republicans would point fingers and start spouting propoganda about how "the Dems want to surrender to the terrorists," and how "the Dems hate America and don't care about our troops."

Bravo, Republicans. If you keep up the misinformation campaign, you might just win the next presidential election, and win back a majority in Congress. Then, you can continue your agenda -- whatever it is.
