Have the Democrats done a cost analysis on how much more we will be paying for electricity and natural gas to light and warm our homes because of their “green” policies? No? Oh, what a surprise! We are being governed by fools in the dark.

Another example is forcing ethanol on drivers, the gas mileage goes down, and the price of all foods escalates, and all politicians pockets become stuffed with greenbacks.

Yes, but as long as we feel good that we are doing something about global warming or the myth of human caused global warming. Then the warm and fuzzies override the exorbitant costs of energy these days (the war was for oil right?, why then is oil at $83/barrell? and we're paying record prices at the pump?)

Pete you have one misconception in your letter. the libs never consider cost on anything as they always can raise taxes to have the money and it will make their base feel good.

so to answer your question NO they didnt. to do so would require one of them to understand economics and under their idea of socialism there is no place for economics just taxes to pay for it.

Oh yes Pete lets blame the dems when it is the greedy capitalists that are gouging us to death. It's good to see the third grader Keith still putting his two cents in. Keith recess is over time to back to class.

Thank God we have those eagle-eyed, penny-pinching conservatives watching the cost of the Iraq war. Can you imagine the ridiculous waste we would see if we didn't have the GOP holding the purse strings? I sleep better at night knowing that we don't have to worry about dime one of our investment in the Middle East. It's all safely accounted for.

It always amazes me when the libs bring up the cost of the iraq war... a small part of the overall budget, but then turn a blind eye on the out of control spending on both sides in entitlement spending.

If you want to look at costs, try looking at Entitlement spending, and compare that to the war spending. Then take a hit of oxygen to get the lungs working again. When you start harping on the .gov to cut spending everywhere else, maybe we can listen to your fiscal conservatism on the war. but until then, spare me your selective fiscalness.

Bottom line: how much is nothing more than a liberal, enviro-happy, "feel-good" tax ?

We are all being reqired to support the fragile menatl health of hopelessly incurable, invironut, "feel good" liberals.
