Perlmutter a puppet
Tuesday, September 25 at 12:01 AM

Every time U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter opens his mouth about Iraq he sounds as if he is getting his talking points from MoveOn.org. When voters elected him did they know they were getting a representative whose views are more in tune with San Francisco than Colorado?
Please, Republicans, put up a worthy candidate so that we can send someone to Washington who is not a lackey of the political left.

John Dellinger, Lakewood

What did you expect from a democrat? The ability to think on their own?

GO figure. When he does not come out and denounce the NYT attack on the military. He goose steps inline with socilist adgendas of the left and refuses to support the military while actively works on raiseing taxes.

Perlmutter is just another typical lefty who is placed in office by the left of this country inorder to subjegate the citizens into communism.

He was elected because 70% of the people in the US OPPOSE the stinking war in Iraq. You will find more free-thinking from liberals and democrats than the boot-lick republicans who blindly believe every word that spews form Bush or Cheney's mouth ( I guess that's really the same thing). Republicans are like lemmings ready to follow a corrupt leader off a cliff. That's fine with me, but the rest of us will continue to oppose the War until the troops are brought home. Why do you Republicans hate the troops so much? Wht do republicans get such a rush from Americans dying in Iraq? Wht are you here in the US if you believe so strongly in this war, go and fight it!

Yea, lets replace him with another rubber
stamp right wing lackey.

let's outlaw politicians, then maybe we could get this country back to being for the people, instead of fleecing the people.

John Dellinger wants someone who will be loyal to the president rather than to the American people.

With the exception of J. Salazar, the rest of our distinguished congressional corps, refused to serve in military uniform. However, Perlmutter is the ONLY congressional rep in Colorado, that has shown any interest in the plight of black disabled Vietnam veterans. ILLEGAL ALIEN! I don't want to arrested, but I crossed over into Perlmutter's district, to get social security (robbed by Mexican Mafia) and VA disability compensation assistance, because I was refused assistance in the Tancredo Plantation, where I live. U.S. Sen. Shamnesty Salazar (staffee flunky Milliner too) like "nuke'em till they glow" Tancredo, also refused to help me.

Black veterans along the Front Range should encourage Perlmutter to seek a senate seat. And all "praises" to Jared Polis, who I hope will destroy Fitz (racist battle-axe) at the polls. I was also robbed by the Mexican Mafia at the Denver SBA and Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF). Silly me! I din't know the CEF could thumb its nose at federal appropriation law. CEF denied me my $150K federal backed business loan, earmarked for combat disabled military veterans. However, the CEF didn't intervene when the Salazar brothers voted in congress, for their own federal farm subsidy ($484K-welfare), used to pay the wages of their criminal illegal Mexican farm workers.

Nuke'em Tom, did illegally interfere into the deportation of Duane "Dog" Chapman (white felon, draft-dodger, resident of Honolulu, HI) to Mexico. Tom also hired criminal illegal Mexicans to perform construction work at his primary residence. These "foreign nationals or undocumented workers" had unfettered access to Tom's congressional personal computer, which compromised our national security. Holding "top-secret" military security clearances. Larry "Hands-Jive" Craig didn't report his arrest to the US Congress, DoD Secy. Gates, or DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), as he is required to, by federal law. Tom didn't report his exponentionally worst national security comprises, to congress, Rummy, or DIA either.

I proudly join US Rep. Murtha (USMC Vietnam War hero), "I wouldn't serve in today's armed forces, with these guys and their draft deferments".

James J. Tenant
Lt. Commander, LDO, USN, Ret.
Served in 3 nuclear powered submarines, 4 surface combat ships, and 3 deployments to Vietnam.

I voted for Perlmutter as I was fed up with the corporate lackey, both ways Bob, and didn't feel confident in voting for a continuation of Republican corruption and disregard for their constituents. I thought there was no way anyone could be worse than both ways Bob -- I was sadly ,mistaken.

Perlmutter walks around in a self perpetuated fog, accomplishing nothing, knowing not much more and attempting to portray the role of efficiency; what a joke!

I can't wait until the next election for the opportunity to correct my mistake. If the Democrats don't put up a viable alternative to Mr. Lobbyist (his wife is a high paid lobbyist), I'll look at other parties for a replacement.

Our friend 40acres, aka draftdodgingisntafamilyvalue, was a REMF in Nam. While I applaud his service, I detest his whiny, crying claims of victim hood and his pursuit of free government cheese.

Allard is the worst politician in the history of Colorado. Rubber stamped every Bush mistake. A non-thinking dweeb. I have lost all respect for Republicans.

While I'm not totally thrilled with Perlmutter, or the Dems in general, for that matter, I still think he's doing a better job of representing his constituency than his senate counterparts, Allard/Salazar, two guys who are almost indistinguishable from each other in their blatant disregard for the wishes of the electorate.
Unless Perlmutter totally screws the pooch, he'll probably get my vote again, until the GOP puts forth a candidate with real Republican values who can think for himself, not a tool of the party and a corporate slave.
Better yet, a Libertarian candidate, but so far, I've seen no reason to waste my vote on one of those.

It was obvious what Perlmutter wouldn't be when he went up for election. I studied what little he had to say and backed off quickly!

I am neither Rub nor Dem.

John Dellinger's opinion my be challenged by a lot of people who voted Perlmutter into office but he can't be faulted for wanting a "worthy candidate" to run against the incumbent. The problem is getting the Republicans to find one, which is unlikely. I'm afraid It's another "lesser of two evils" scenario.

What a joke that is. The republicans have not had one of those in years, alot of years.

Wanting us out of this disaster was not and is not a partisan issue.

It's exactly in line with the mainstream sentiment of this district.

In fact, the word 'disaster' isn't my choice. It is the language the Republicans were using when they ran against Ed.

This is from the Rocky Mountain News itself:
" O'Donnell acknowledges that President Bush's policies there have been a 'disaster.' "

Permutter is a poor wannbe "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" type politician. His stem cells would be a bust for scientific research.
