Valiant warriors
Friday, September 21 at 12:01 AM

Today is National POW-MIA Day (prisoners of war or missing in action). On this day, we should all take a few moments out of our busy schedule and reflect on what it should mean to us to be living in America. How many of our POW-MIA troops are still giving and paying the price for that freedom? While in these few moments, pay tribute to and say a prayer for these valiant warriors.

If it wasn't for Sen. John Kerry and Sen. John McCain, who in the late 70s passed a bill stating that there were no more POW/MIAs left in Vietnam we would still be rescuing them from the hell they're still going through 30 years later.

Here's a salute to all those who were POWs, and those still MIA, they deserve all the respect we can give them. A special salute to my Dad (POW). People have no idea the hell these survivors are still going through 30 years later.

Today is a good day to remember but so was yesterday and tomorrow will be another day to remember.

People in this country are so anti-military,they can't see it's the very sacrifices that give them their freedoms today.

The hate level in this country today saddens me.

I for one support all military men and women past and present,POW"S and MIA'S.

Isn't a shame when poeple politicize the service these brave poeple and their families have endured and fought for.

I am a Patriot and love my country with all it has given me and my family and all it's faults.

This is still the greatest Country to live in.

To be an American Citizen , I am honored and humbled when I see the sacrifices that have been made and are being made by our Armed Forces and their families.

I would like to offer up a suggestion for this blog.

My Mother taught me , " If you don't have anything nice to say, Don't say anything at all. "

I think that advice applies here.
