48 years not enough for Lawrence Trujillo
It’s true that no amount of prison time for Lawrence Trujillo will bring back Becca, Garrison, or Macie Bingham. It’s also true that no amount of prison time will take away the pain that Frank Bingham will have to endure for the rest of his life because of Mr. Trijillo’s reckless decisions.
Judge Morris Hoffman may have felt powerless to remedy the devastation caused by Mr. Trujillo but that really wasn’t the issue here because absolutely nothing could remedy the destruction Mr. Trujillo caused. The issue is what would be an appropriate sentence for Mr. Trujillo’s actions.
The possibility of 48 years in prison – which converts into a likely parole date years earlier — is not enough of a punishment for Mr. Trujillo’s actions.
And regardless of how remorseful Mr. Trujillo is now, he wasn’t remorseful on November 13, 2006.

There are some actions where remorse after an act is not enough to mitigate the immense harm done. Nothing can bring the Bingham family back but 48 years is not enough of a punishment for Mr. Trujillo’s horrendous actions.

The system will leave him just enough of the end of his life to show him what he took from his victims and how much he himself missed.That,folks,is mercy.

48 years in prison is no walk in the park,
he"ll have everyday to regret the loss of three lives, and the separation of his own family.
Maria, at the end of any time her serves, he will return to his family. In prison he will be able to write and recieve letters from his family, get visits from them and talk to them on the phone. How will a father and husband be able to do any of that? All he will be able to do is visit the graves, there will be no hugs given or recieved, no kisses. He will never see his kids grow up in anyway, he will not see them ride a bike, or marry or even fight with him as all kids will do. They are gone. In whatever time Trujillo serves, he will see his family, he will see his kids grow up and do everything that they strive to do. He will never serve enough time for no matter what time he serves, his family still lives. He killed a family, he destoryed the future of 2 children and made a loving husband and father become, instantly, a very lonely man.

Yes, I expected to be severly chided.
I understand death, I lost my husband and the lights went out for our immediate family.
I was lucky he died in the hospital and, and
the blow was not as hard as Frank had to go thru losing his family all at one time. I feel
his pain. And I understand what Nick said, I totally agree, I was just hoping for ..a little..
mercy for Larry's family. He'll just have to
go thru the prison life which isn't nice.
Sadly no amount of time or even death penalty will bring back the mom and babies. That was horrific. I hope and pray Frank will recieve supernatural healing and someday find happiness.
