Which was the most effective in enabling the highly touted Bush Prosperity, the nine trillion dollar injection into the economy of the Bush National Debt Increase or The Bush Tax Cut? Could both the Iraqi War and The Bush Prosperity exist without the Bush National Debt Increase? We know about Tax-And-Spend-Democrats, how about Borrow-And-Spend-Republicans?

Bush "Prosperity" = "Don't Worry, Be Happy" economics of debt without end. Eat, Drink, and be merry.....

All-time record household net worth at $60 trillion, all-time record employment, record disposable incomes, record consumer spending, record corporate earnings, record dividends, record stock prices, record GDP, record productivity gains, near-record low unemployment, near-record low interest rates, near-record low inflation, deficit as a percent of GDP at very low end of historical range--and all that prosperity with tax cuts.

But liberal moonbat Ray pisses, whines and moans. He can't wait for Charlie Rangle's $trillion tax hike to fix the AMT, Hillary's $trillion tax hike for socialized medicine and Ritter's blizzard of tax hikes. Can Ray spell r-e-c-e-s-s-i-o-n?

Looks like the American experience is not working for everyone who isn't getting their piece of the ever growing pie. Ray, you should have listened to your mother and graduated from high school. Those extra 2-3 years would have been worth it--in dollars and cents.

Life is good...for most Americans!

We will pay dearly for years to come for this clown. And of course if a Democrat is in office or in control when the effects of Bushes Borrow and spend policies it will be their fault. I'm worried for my 11 yr. old grandson.

Yep Hank...no problem, Bush just keeps borrowing and borrowing, and when a new presient comes and raises taxes to pay off those debts everyone will howl. ( are you really Keith in disguise?)

debt and its being paid down with the huge increases in revenue being collected but they dont say that at media matters so you would never know about it/

We heard the same kind of predictions back when Reagan was in office that "the children and grand children will be crushed by the 'Reagan Debt'".

The children and grand children back then are now in their 30's, and they're doing just fine. Your's will too.

And Dave...what promise did Bush the Smarter have to break because of Reagan's fiscal policies?

I didn't realize that their were so many angry, unskilled and uneducated high-school dropouts who are not getting their piece of the American pie. Jose and Pedro risk their lives to get here and find gainful employment on day one, even before their shirts dry...WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE?

You guys should have listened to your moms and graduated. The extra 2-3 years it would have taken you would be paying you dividends today. And I just love dividends.

We need to raise the welfare payments so Jay and the rest of the Democrats will get their share of the prosperity that Bush has created.

We have been fighting the libdems "War on Poverty" for 40-years. $6 trillion later we are still bogged down in their quagmire with no exit strategy.

The Congressional Budget Office, the Treasury Department, the Joint Committee on Taxation, the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers and a former Bush administration economist all say that tax cuts lead to revenues that are lower than they otherwise would have been – even if they spur some economic growth. And federal revenues actually declined at the beginning of this decade before rebounding. The Office of Management and Budget says that growth in the past three years brings revenues back in line with the 40-year historical average as a percentage of gross domestic product.

Federal revenue is lower today than it would have been without the tax cuts,” Alan D. Viard of the conservative American Enterprise Institute told the Washington Post last October. He noted that while “nobody can absolutely prove that...among economists, there’s no dispute.”

All of this wonderful wealth is because of the national debt. We're spending our childrens' and grandchildrens' inheritence. But once China calls in the debt we've borrowed from them, then U.S.'s faux economy will collapse and your kids will be standing in the soup lines. But fatten yourselves up on the fruit of your nearsightedness.
Every man, woman and child in this country is now responsible for an average $30,000.00 each to pay off the national debt. Keep spending, keep borrowing.

And Hank is party to this madness.
