Denver should have kept up with maintenance
Denver wants to spend $94 million dollars to upgrade the Denver area. Cleaning up very badly needed areas such as civic center, office building with graffiti.
If I let my property go, I get a ticket and told to clean up my self with my own money. I say that the Denver people in charge of cleaning up Denver should do it on their own without my money involved. They should have never let it get this bad.
Why, because of the DNC coming to town. Got to have a nice place to look at while the big shots are here. People of Denver, give the city their ticket and tell them to spend their own money. NO MORE TAXES.

Hickenlooper is a typical tax you to death Democrat. Look how high our taxes and fees are from property taxes to the taxes on any high ticket items you purchase like new homes, cars, motorcycles, etc.
We have more parking meters in more areas than ever before that you must put money in until 10:00 PM. How about his tax for pre-school for 4 yr olds. I call it "Socialized day" care.
No amount of tax revenue will ever satisfy this worthless mayor. The economy is close to a recession because of the housing market and rising oil prices and this Dumocrat wants more tax money. I thought Democrats were here to help the not so rich. The city has the money for all these improvements already. They just move it over to Hickenloopers slush fund for his pals that will be here for the Democratic National Convention.
They are nothing more than moochers like most of their constituents.
If the Demonrats want their convention to look nicey-nice, they should get their worthless asses out the and clean it up rather than tax everyone to let it go to waste in a slush fund. This should be correctly listed as a campaign contribution.

Their "hip-hop" Mayor Kwami Kirkpatrick had false fronts put on vacant vandalized buildings, housed the prostitutes for a few nights, in so many ways he made the city temporarily pretty for the visitors.
This is all about RUSHING to make the neglect that has been allowed to happen look "pretty" for the Democratic National Convention.

I have been reading these letters for a short time now and you seem to have many coments on a daily basis. You try to push your ideas/coments on the city of Denver and it sounds like you have no life of your own . Get out and go for a walk , catch a Rockie game, or fly a kite. Why heck , why not take a tour of the Capitol Building ? You seem to have an Opinion on many things , maybe you should learn to keep some of them to yourself.
