Git rid of front page stickers
I find it very interesting that you think so little of your front page that you have turned it into an advertising forum. Get rid of the stickers.
This letter has not been edited.
Just wait, when they're done with the test run every page gets stickers. Just part of the current management's determination to turn the News into a pure advertising vehicle propped up by the inane comedy stylings of Vinnie Carroll.

Posted by post it note lady on October 11, 2007 11:22 AMTo ‘3:34’ and “post it note lady”: Apparently you do not have a problem with internet pop-up ads covering web pages you’re trying to view. After all, you just close them in order to see the screen. Or do you, like most of us, use internet pop-up blockers to eliminate those irritants.
People need to keep up the pressure on the papers to stop this tacky form of journalistic graffiti.
Either that, or tip your carrier to act as your pop-up blocker and deliver a news paper, not a billboard.
Personally, I like the "Git rid...", I didn't know the News was hiring hillbillies to write their headlines now.

Last time I checked, a business like the RMN is much more responsive to pressure on their bank statements than whining on their net forum, but the person making the decision on the stickers probably reads these posts all the time.
