Mike Rosen
Monday, October 8 at 9:44 AM

Michael F. Crowe of Aurora writes:

Mike Rosen writes “shut up and sit down” in reference to the ‘taser’ incident in Florida and the editorial comment in the Rocky Mountain Collegian, as being “sophomoric". My response to Mike Rosen, is “shut up, stop writing, and sit down” as I do not want others to read your Chardonnay-fueled neo-con right-wing illogical scribbling.

hey crowe what about his free speech rights? i guess you and the rest of the left liberal dems only want it for themselves and the rest of the thinking crowd can be deprived of that right.

For the sake of civility, we should respect the rights of free speech. This does not mean "shut up and sit down" but it doesn't mean hogging the show and denying others their rights either. If everyone is given equal time to express their points (at a organized function), then delaying or denying the person who is waiting to express their opinion, is a violation of their rights.

I would much rather read Rosen's take on Bush and Judge Affrimative Action (AA) Alito. Both are UCMJ-felons; AWOL, deserters, and guilty of illegal separation and discharge. Fact is, Rosen's "truth police" members like O'Riles, Hannity, Andrews, Gunny Bob, Schaffer, Allard, Musgrave, Caplis, Lamborn, Tancredo, Lim(P)baugh, etc., should investigate and report their findings. When pigs fly!

Crowe you idiot, that guy was interupting a meeting with John Kerry! Rosen didn't refer to anything about politics, that was you!. Rosen was simply saying that a speaker and it's audience deserve the right to have a meeting without a moron acting like an idiot. But obviously that's just too complex for you to understand.

Rosen spends a huge amount of time on his show making fun of Hillary Clinton's "cackle" and sterotyping liberals, jews, and gays.

Talk about sophmoric.

Hey, GK (spelled . . sophomoric)
Hillary's cackle is her cackle. Please give me an example of Mike Rosen "sterotyping liberals, jews and gays." . . . O. K. how about just the last two?

GK,

There is a reason Hillary does the cackle. She wants to discredit a question and make it seem as though the questioner has made a ridiculous request for her to give a direct answer a direct question. I hear liberals do that all the time. If they don’t have a good rebuttal they will give a laugh. Rosen does not spend a huge amount of time on his show making fun of Hillary Clinton's cackle. He spent about five minutes one day on one show discussing it and why she uses it. That’s not a “huge amount of time.”

By the way, it’s unlikely that Rosen would stereotype Jews in a bad way since he is Jewish himself. You must not spend a huge amount of time listening to Rosen’s show; otherwise you would already know that. But yet you seem to be able to judge him, somehow.

Gene, Mountain Cat: Here’s a couple of quotes from Rosen

Mike Rosen of Newsradio 850 KOA told a caller on his October 4 broadcast who asked about how to “deal with” his Jewish Democratic relatives, “You’re trying to overcome an ideology, and so many Jews are instinctive socialists.” Rosen has expounded on the personality traits and tendencies of Jews on previous broadcasts, saying that some Jews “don’t have, I don’t think, a good grasp of the big economic picture,” and that “it’s probably fair to say that Jews have a tendency toward pushiness and ostentatiousness.”

Rosen on gays:

on the September 25 Newsradio 850 KOA broadcast that Iran’s government has “persecuted and killed” all homosexuals in that nation. In reply, guest and fellow KOA host Mike Rosen remarked, “Maybe Boulder would like to send them a few, or something like that.”

Mike Rosen defended controversial remarks by Bob Beauprez’s running mate, Janet Rowland, saying she made “an entirely defensible point” by linking gay marriage to incest and polygamy.

Rosen on liberals:

Coulter said that “college Republican girls are invariably beautiful,” host Mike Rosen asked, “And they shave their legs and they use underarm deodorant too, don’t they?” Rosen later added, “You’ve got the adorable college Republicans girls on the one hand, and then you’ve got [White House correspondent] Helen Thomas on the other.” Coulter replied, “Right, no it is basically like that. You can look out over the audience and, just on the basis of pulchritude, figure out who are the right-wingers and who are the liberals.”

I listened to Rosen’s sophomoric rant about the Clinton “cackle” go on for at least 30 minutes.
