I wanted to write in reguards to Jim Kiel’s letter America’s resolve disgracefully weak. I agree with everything he says but I think there is one thing he left out.
I too watched The War and it really hit me hard how much our men sacrificed for our country. Watching it made me very proud of what these men did for us. So it makes my blood boil when our government keeps trying to give amnesty to illegals who have done absolutly nothing to earn the rights and priveleges that our men paid for with their BLOOD and LIVES! Illegals have broken our laws to come here, snuck into our country and now demand rights that they are not entitled to! For our government to even consider allowing them to stay here free and clear is a slap in the face to every man who gave their life in any of our wars. We have earned what we have and they want to steal it. I am appalled and sickened that something so precious to Americans would even be considered as a handout to illegals! Please America, find your pride and raise up and stop this travisty!!!!

In reality, trying to deport everyone who is in this country illegally is a lost cause, but at least we should deport or detain those who demand services or commit crimes in addition to their illegal presence.

Stan your wrong, it is not to late to arrest employers for hiring illegals. A couple of ten year prison terms for our creedy corporate leaders and know one will hire illegals.
Get rid of salazar and the rest of these politicians that have sold out colorado's working class.

Employers of criminal illegal Mexicans should be jailed in SuperMax or Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Corporate employers who violate or federal re-employment laws for our military reservists should be "tarred and feathered" too. It is simply unbelievable that more than 160K (CNN reported) reservists, were fired by their civilian employer, while they were literally fighting in combat. USDOL Secy. Chao is their policewoman, however, she is a Bush nullified toothless tiger. Chao and the USAG haven't prosecuted a single corrupt corporate employer for violating these laws. Ooops! My Bad! The "USPS" is the worst offender of combat military reservists re-employment rights. Don't call Shamnesty Salazar on this one, he is too busy pandering to LA RAZA and criminal illegal Mexicans.

You hit the nail on the head. Thanks for the addition. I'm an employer who follows the process of screening new hires. I only meant to suggest that herding all the illegals into a "cadre" is illogical if not impossible.

Yep. Stick those who hire illegals with meaningful consequences and maybe they'll stop their lust for cheap labor. But then, they control the purse strings of government. Government = Corporate

I agree we need to crack down on employers that hire illegals; we don't need to go find illegals to "deport" them they will go back on their own when no jobs AND NO SERVICES are available.
We also need law enforcement to report to ICE illegals when they have contact with ANY (state, local etc.) police!
We don't need "REFORM" WE ALREADY HAVE LAWS AND NEED TO ENFORCE THEM- JUST LIKE MEXICO DOES!

The scarier thing is that there far to many Anchor Babies now serving in our Military Service and with some believing that because they are, the whole family down to even cousins should be given free citizenship because of the service they are doing for our country. I had a friend that had to tell a family their son died in Iraq, the only thing he could say is "Where is my green card and when do I get my citizenship?" His son is dead and the only thing he cared about was a free ride for coming here illegally and breaking laws in doing so. His son is dead and what does he care about more his son or what else can he rape from this country. If this makes me a RACIST because I am outraged at the audacity of all illegal aliens demanding everything for nothing, well I CAN LIVE WITH THAT. I can face God with my head held up high. Standing up for what is right is not a shameful thing as many pro-illegal people want to you to feel. Keep standing Jody, there are more and more people behind you than the pro-illegal activists want you to believe.

The ACLU went to Federal Court in the San Franscico Santuary City and had a judge shut down Homeland Security's attempt to warn thousands of employers that they had 30- 60 days to match everyone on their employment with a correct SS#.

The ACLU thought this was wrong and we should not be allowed to go after employers who hire illegals that are stealing millions of American SS# and wreaking havoc on Citizens.

How can our local,state and federal governments enforce the laws ,when everytime they try they are dragged into court. These lawsuits are bankrupting towns and cities,trying to defend them and holding up state and federal governments from enforcing the laws.

I think if there is an Attorney out there that would start a class action suit against the ACLU and the Federal Government on behalf of the American citizens for not upholding our rights as citizens,maybe our voices would be heard louder.

I am a person of Hispanic descent and I have to tell you that it makes me angry that the other persons of Hispanic descent are expecting us as taxpayers to foot the bill for the education of their children in a bilingual school.
That doubles the expense of educating children. Why is it up to us to interpret the English language for these folks? If the parents of the children would educate themselves prior to coming to our country, perhaps it wouldn’t be as expensive for the schools and maybe then more schools could remain open.
