No more tax money for war in Iraq until criteria met
Wednesday, October 31 at 2:00 PM

John Ruckman of Lakewood writes:

No more defense appropriation supplementals for Iraq!
Fix the waste and problems there, put in place some serious audit systems and force the Iraqis to do what they said they would, so we can get out of there! Then we can talk about more tax money for war, not until.

Whaddya mean?? It's only been almost five years! Are you already tired of walking through that cake? Are you tired of all of those "Thank you liberator" parades? Are you tired of all of those flowers they keep throwing at you? What is the matter with you?
(meanwhile, back in D.C., no one has been held accountable for the false intelligence, the out-right lying officials, the miscalculations about the mission, the bravado "bring 'em on" statements, all the while planning for Another pre-emptive attack on Iran, again using false intelligence and a repeat of the whole comical play.)

You gotta wonder why it's so hard to get the Republicans to represent the will of congress, the iraqi and american people and finally do the right thing and get our soldiers out of harm's way.

What I want to know is why all you people are screaming for us to get out of Iraq, yet not a word about our subsidiseing of France and Europe 60 years after the war. Our troops are still in Japan, Germany , England. We give millions to these government sand they screw us over as bad as Iraq yet none of you complain about this.

In the SOFA (status of forces agreement) we are still an occupying force in Japan. Where is the exit strategy there. Why are we pumping millions into thier economies instead of ours, HUH? Answer those questions Einstiens.

haven't heard much about the lack of suicide bombings or troop deaths lately have you? Have you heard this good news?
Of course not - it doesn't fit into the america must fail agenda the Dems and the press have.
They are waiting for some major bombing or bloodshed otherwise all you hear is crickets the past three weeks about Iraq.

There is no good news. More headless bodies were found. Things are great in Iraq.

Rick you are believer that the US is evil aren't you?
How many troop deaths have there been in the last week? 2 weeks? Month?
Civilian deaths?
In May our losses (all tragic) were 126, 2nd worst from Nov 2004, In Sept 07 we lost 65 soldiers and 39 soldiers in October. In fact there has been a steady decrease in overall casualties since the surge all of you naysayers were against to begin with.
Is that what you people on left were afraid of with the surge? that it might be succesful? Well guess what Rick, it has been a success.
Civilian and Iraqi security force deaths were at an all time high in sept 06 at 3539 souls and Feb 07 at 3014 souls were lost and now those souls lost are down to 679 in October 07.
So yes the bad news is people are still dying, but there is good news somehwere in Iraq and somehow that progress is being made no matter how badly you wish for it to be going bad. The only reason you think it is all bad news is because you want it that way and don't realize that true progress is being achieved, probably because your sources of information do not report the dramatic decrease in overall casualties.

War is great. There are less dying now that before ( dont ask their survivors how great it is tho). Gotta love these wars, especially when we can sit here and watch the Rockies and not to have to fight in them. Whats a few dead American kids when we are talking about oil and making a few bucks. Its not like they are all dying.

The problem is that no such thing happened.

For people who complain that gullible people allow the Iraq war to continue, progressives will swallow just about anything.

What tax money? We aren't using tax money on this war are we? George Bush told us the Iraqis were ggoing to pay for this...what happened?
I got an idea since we are paying for the war, we can get the Iraqis to start paying for improvements here in America. They can start rebuilding the infrastructure, pay for education, medical research, medicaid, child health care, veterans hospitals, veterans medical treatment, you know, all the things that the Bush administration has ignored these last 7 years.
