University of Colorado law professor Paul Campos’ mean-spirited personal attack on Bill Kristol (“Is Bill Kristol respectable?”- News, 9-25-07) tells me that the level of professionalism expected of faculty in that prestigious department needs upgrading. When college professors manufacture this tripe and newspapers validate it by contracting to print it, sane public discourse suffers. The University and Colorado’s leading newspapers can and must do better—if there’s any hope for our republic.
Otherwise we are apt to be consumed by our own bitterness toward each other.

Percy, you show compassion to the "victim", of course Kristol deserves better comparisons than to an internet pornographer.

It brings the porn king down a few notches. Bill Kristol wrote the PNAC agenda, this includes the invasion and hegemony of the middle east, establishing permanent military bases to control the petroleum resources, thus keeping China and Indian oil thirst second in line.

Campos has been frying his train-wrecked brain ever since he jumped naked into a Woodstock mud puddle totally stoned nearly 40 years ago. Affirmative action doesn't work, even for socialists, and Campos is living proof.
