Sen. McCain should be forgiven
Even though he’s the only major candidate in the race who has been consistently pro-life his entire career, been for cutting wasteful spending and balancing the federal budget, and is best prepared to lead our nation during this time of war, Dobson and others won’t forgive McCain over something he said years ago and did more recently.
So he called some Christian leaders “agents of intolerance” in 2000. McCain’s worked to reach out to those he offended and make amends. Dobson and others also didn’t like him co-authoring the campaign finance reform bill because it limited the potential influence Focus on the Family can have during elections.
I’m a Christian and a long-time listener and supporter of Dobson and his Focus on the Family ministry, and I’m supporting McCain for President because of the reasons I stated above.
Plus, recent Rasmussen and Fox News polls show McCain does the best against Sen. Hillary Clinton, who our nation can’t afford to have in the White House.
So I encourage Dr. Dobson and the other Christian leaders to demonstrate their faith, forgive Senator McCain just as God through Jesus Christ forgave them. Then let’s all rally around his candidacy and ensure the White House stays in common sense, Conservative hands.

McCain is certainly better than Hillary in the White House.
You get Hillary, you get the pervert, liar she is married to. They are as crooked as they come, great at cover-ups and excuses for their behavior. She changes stances on things as often as one changes underwear and Bill knows a lot about underwear, and not his wife's!
Not a lot of moral character there. McCain is as moral as they come. Good man, but doesn't have the shady side that this country seems to crave. Sick, isn't it?
Posted by cas on October 28, 2007 02:40 PMcas, oh I don`t know, didn`t McCain have some involvement in that Keating business, I seem to recall something there.

Not familiar with that Keating business. What do you know?
"What I do mean to say is the United States of America was founded on the values of Judeo-Christian values, which were translated by our founding fathers, which is basically the rights of human dignity and human rights," McCain said.
I was going to vote for McCain since we are both Navy and he'd told the mf Christians to take a hike; however, now he claims America is a Christian nation when it is, in fact, a nation dominated by Christians. Does McCain believe the earth is flat about 6000 years old as mf Bush believes when accepting intelligent design as a given? Mf Christianity should be kept out of the public domain (mf meaning evil and despicable in dictionary.com along with wretch, a description Christians imbue themselves).
Deicide Corner: We have all seen this statement before: In God We Trust. Have you ever wondered why the dollar in your pocket makes this proclamation? After all, isn't there supposed to be separation between church and state? It is no wonder the line between church and state seems blurred so often in a nation that pledges "one nation under God" and proclaims "In God We Trust" on our currency. All gods are mf: evil and despicable.

That's pretty scary...#1 because Mr. Dobson represents but a small number of the total number of Christians in this country. If you ever read many of Dobson's rants, it's easy to see that he is of the Dominionist cloth, which is a group of preachers and their followers who want this country run solely on biblical law, which is position that I highly doubt the majority of the country wants. This is all the more reason Dobson should be stopped, and we should not vote for ANY candidate who kowtows and licks the boots of these fanatics. McCain has exposed himself for the two-faced vermin that he is. I think he's in competition to put the waffler-in-chief, Mitt Romney, to shame.
chas, something called the Keating 5, I think they were in the savings and loan mess, that also caught Neil Bush. I believe McCain was cleared though. But it was some shady business around the time of the loans scandal.

"It is sad that our politicans have to cater to extremists on both sides of the aisle."
Did your polls tell you to say this?
This coming for a far left liberal, give me break!

Posted by jay on October 28, 2007 09:19 PMJay,
I never pout. When a far left fanatic gets on the blog and tries acting like a centralist I just find it humorous ans want to share the fun with the rest of the people. You are so far off base with you comments, the first time I read your blog I thought you were trying to be a stand-up comedian. Now that I understand you really mean what you are spewing out it is even more comical.
