The Rocky Mountain Collegian editorial
It is truly sad to see CSU, which has been traditionally an institution which evoked much pride not only from alumni but from all Colorado residents, start down the same path of radical, MoveOn.org liberalism that has transformed CU-Boulder into a source of shame and embarrassment. Let’s hope the CSU leadership heeds the warning signs like the recent outrageous slur in the college newspaper and rights the ship before it sinks in the muck of the socialist/liberal agenda.
This letter has not been edited.
What is even more sad is that Fort Collins has been identified as a sanctuary city for illegal aliens. It all follows the same path. How unfortunate for the fort.

How truely sad it is that you judge the entire school by the bad actions of one person. By needlessly adding knee-jerk words like radical, socialist, MoveOnYou are truely a politcal bigot.
Any by the Way CU is a great place to get an education, especially in Engineering, astronomy, biology.

You're delusional and nuts ans why don't you go to Iran and marry him if you think ne's such a gem of humanity.
Posted by Allen Campbell on October 1, 2007 04:54 PMAnd I know the mistakes I make. And and he's. That fool has no idea of what freedom means at all, especially for women and anyone else who disagrees with his towering ego and lack of respect for life
Posted by Allen Campbell on October 1, 2007 05:00 PMMy issue is not that he used the F-word, but that he used it so ineptly. It's such a wonderfully versatile word, and he squandered it in such an unimaginitve fashion.
He has a great deal to learn, and not just about journalism. (I say that as a former journalism student myself.) He has a great deal to learn about the proper use of dirty words. I suggest he start here:

What are you smoking?
The subject is the CSU editorial and you're talking about Ahmadinejad. And I thought you were hooked on tobacco.

It's far from whining. And the "whining" as you say, is about ILLEGAL immigration. Big difference.
You must love working your ass off to pay your bills while ILLEGALS collect welfare, get free health care, and your taxes pay for their kids' education.
While they steal our jobs, commit crimes, steal identity, laugh at our laws, etc, etc, you can sit back and call the citizens of this country who see the injustice in this whiners. I guess we can label YOU stupid.
Posted by c on October 2, 2007 06:10 PMCome on, kiddies. You know as well as I do that if free speech were to be regulated the way the poor, abused, picked on "people for utter and total politeness" want it to be, there wouldn't be anyone left on this website as spokes-persons for Republicanism/"conservatism" today. And the forum wouldn't be fun anymore.
Posted by Old Grouch on October 3, 2007 06:51 PMArioch: Thanks for the Carlin site. I liked your cribbed words:~~~~ "the F-word, but that he used it so ineptly. It's such a wonderfully versatile word, and he squandered it in such an unimaginitve fashion."~~~~~
The response proves the word was not squandered. He used the "versatile" word imaginatively. (Hey! No problem: I, too, fail, at times, to insert the "i" in a word).
