Complaining DeGette got what she wanted
Monday, November 12 at 10:00 AM

Poor, poor U.S. Rep. Diana De“Groaner” (“Colorado delegation calls DIA wait times ‘unacceptable,’” Nov. 1). Did ums have to take more than five minutes to get through the Transportation Security Administration special-privilege wait line? Did ums conveniently forget that ums was one of the loudest voices for a federal government TSA?

As a federal agency, with a budget limited by Congress, it has no incentive to serve the public by getting them through wait lines quicker. Granted, TSA has provided jobs for many who could not get jobs elsewhere, and it does provide its famous 19-cent-per-hour raises.

You wanted it, Rep. DeGette, and you got it. Which makes me think your letter wanting quicker TSA transit times is nothing but grandstanding for your personal political benefit. If you truly wanted quicker transit times for the public, you could always increase TSA funding by stealing from Medicare and raising the tobacco tax (as you attempted in SCHIP), or the traditional Democratic Party method: raising taxes.

has anyone ever noticed that there are two to three people standing around watching someone else work? if they have been trained to do the job why is it so necessary to call someone to check your work of looking at a screen and then having a debate over what is there.
I had my bag scanned three times and searched twice and then was asked if I had a knife in it as they knew there was one. yep sure did but in the real world it is called a belt buckle.
TSA thousands standing around is the correct term.

Degette should have supported the impeachment initiative. I, for one am not going to vote for her and I think many in her "base" feel the same way.

Maybe if she wore her "Service Dog" vest she would get through security a little easier.

I pray poster 12:20 is right and many will vote this worthless person out. She for years has done nothing but pad her pockets, screw the taxpayer and further the left agenda.

DeGette is the one Colorado US Rep who could have supported Impeachment of Cheney and risked nothing as she has over wherming voter support in her district. If she did that it might take the pressure off Udall, Permutter and Rep. Salazar to support Impeachment. I think the voters should call their Colorado US Reps at 800-828-0498 and tell 'em "No Money, No Votes and No volunteering" Until You Support Impeachment Of VP Cheney for the WMD lies and the Treason of outing Valerie Plame a covert CIA Agent and her foreign agents.

Plame was not a covert agent. Think before you speak Kennedy.

if Plame was a covert agent then Ted Kennedy never killed Mary Jo

Rep. DeGett is just trying to be like Pat Schroder and falling short.

Patsy was a very accomplished fleecer of the sheeple. Dianna doesn't quite have it down yet, so her contempt for the average citizen is still evident. The true believers on the left will help her to grow up and be a complete limousine liberal. Give her time. She will evenually get the arrogance right.

She never voted for the mess in Iraq. that alone puts her ahead of the idiots on the Republican side.

and Laura Bush never ran a stop sign killing her ex-boyfriend in high school. It's so funny to make light of people who get killed in a car wreck.

Didn't republicans have control when this was passed? Republicans never take responsibility. Liars.

DeGette won't discuss Impeachment no matter how hard you press her. Bush and Cheney lie to Congress about WMD in order to get Congress to authorize war and because of their lies get 30,000 US Soldiers maimed and 4,000 Murdered by WMD LIES. DeGette is a lawyer and knows the US Constitution say "shall" Impeach. It is time she and the rest of our US Reps did it. IF you agree and want to help make Impeachment happen

J Bashor is a Republican because he is into name-calling. Take notice that Christians can be identified because of their hate mail. Having perused in the subject matter, I attach as an Independent absent of name-calling and hate mail:

It is with some regret I violate the subject matter; however, a significant event is on the horizon:

W. Bush must notice the chaos resulting from a President declaring an event of significant nature leading to emergency rule:

So we call on all "Peace Pledge" Democrats to honor their pledges by voting NO.
A new study by Democrats themselves puts the economic cost of the Iraq occupation at $1.6 TRILLION, or $21,000 per family. Every single penny has been wasted - not to mention the human cost to Americans and Iraqis and global hatred of the USA.
Why would Democrats want to give Bush one penny more?
All Congress has to do is Just Say No and refuse to provide any new funds, and tell Bush to use existing funds to bring all our troops safely home. Bush has plenty of money - besides all previous Iraq funds, Bush just signed a Pentagon bill with a $40 billion increase.
Tell your Representatives: No More Funds for Iraq
