Letter to Mike Littwin
Thursday, November 8 at 2:03 PM

Pat Desrosiers of Denver writes:

Dear Mr. Littwin: The sky is blue, water’s wet and we have a Democrat governor in bed with the unions.
So what else is new? Great news if you are a government employee looking for more money for less work (having previously belonged to a union, I know).
Bad news if you are a taxpayer employed in the private sector (known to Democrats as “The Rich").
We’ll see how it shakes out, but it isn’t encouraging. We in this state seem hell bent to tax ourselves back to the Stone Age. I hope a tipping point occurs where government gets back on a budget and we keep taxation at reasonable levels, and I hope it happens before we end up like Massachusetts (where I grew up and left as soon as I could).

the hardest job I have ever had was in a union

hey Pat we're spending a billion a week in Iraq. The war expense will soon be 2.6 Trillion dolllars. Isn't that something you should be worrying about?

It was so much better when Owens was in bed with Energy companies.

"looking for more money for less work"

Quite a few nonunion folks wouldn't mind that.

What do you think about Anthony Garcia?
Bigoted? xenophobic? uncompassionate?

Mexican-American resents footing the bill
Monday, October 22 at 12:01 AM

I am a person of Hispanic descent and I have to tell you that it makes me angry that the other persons of Hispanic descent are expecting us as taxpayers to foot the bill for the education of their children in a bilingual school.
That doubles the expense of educating children. Why is it up to us to interpret the English language for these folks? If the parents of the children would educate themselves prior to coming to our country, perhaps it wouldn’t be as expensive for the schools and maybe then more schools could remain open.
It’s wrong for immigrants who come to this country to expect us to foot the bill for their every need! So let’s not blame the school district for the problems; how about we look in the mirror!
We can’t allow this abuse of our good graces and our programs that were designed for the American people to continue.
I am Mexican myself, however my family came here legally and assimilated to the American way of life including speaking the language of the land — English. If immigrants really want to contribute to America, that would be a good place to start!

Hi, Ricky, I hope your day is going well. How are the wife and kids? By the way, tell Tony hello for me. It's been a while since I've talked with him.

I love to listen people rant and rave about "getting taxed to death" by the state of Colorado.

What is the line that the Republicans say when people complain about BushCo, "If you don't like it, move." Well, take your own advise.

RITTER NEEDS TAX HIKE TO FLOAT HIS "MORAL " BUDGET!

Page 5 of today's Rocky--he's out of money! And now he needs more tax hikes to support his "moral" budget! Based on the story, he needs to stagger in his tax hikes under 3 separate hikes because the one huge tax hike needed would be too much for Colorado to swallow all at once.

And didn't we just take a tax hike with Ref C?

Lay Ritter's tax-hike avalanche on top of Hick's alphabet of bond/tax hikes, Charlie Rangle's $1 trillion tax hike need to "fix" the AMT and Hillary's $1 trillion tax hike for socialized medicine and a phony retirement scheme and you have RECESSION!

If you voted Demo because you wanted change, then that's exactly what you are going to get--a pocket full of nickles and dimes left over and they are all for you!

Hey Hank, what website do you get your rants from?

If Hank is sniveling again, things must be going fine.
