Thanks, Deep Rock

I appreciate Deep Rock Water Co. having a corporate backbone and not using plastic bottles with bisphenol A even though it costs them more to not use them (“Deep Rock pulls its plastic jugs,” Business, Nov. 1).

Deep Rock stopped using the polycarbonate water-cooler jugs out of concern the plastic can release BPA, an estrogenlike compound that has been linked to early-stage prostate and breast cancer and decreased fertility. If only the Food and Drug Administration was so thoughtful and proactive.

Yeah, well I guess that's good for the environment and people but, the down side of it is it opens another door for the zealots to walk in and start banning even more things that are border line at best as been dangerous to you health.

The inevitible result of all this banning is a artificially created condition where everthing that can be shown to even be a miniscule possible threat to somebody's health somewhere on the planet will be banned.

And the end result will be living in a world where there is no risk at all, everything controlled, safe and healthy and, the people are boring and vapid and totally void of the spirit inherent in being human. Yes, that's what we need to futher the understanding of the world we live in and come up with cures for every malady know to man and grow towards a better world. A world wide population of virtual CLONES. Big Brother standing behind you, with a knife in his hand.
