Brian Quade of Denver writes:

I can’t believe State Department employees are complaining about being involuntarily transferred to Baghdad. Senior Foreign Services Officer Jack Croddy had the nerve to ask, “Who will raise our children if we are dead or seriously wounded?” I don’t recall anyone from the State Department asking who will raise the children of the thousands of US troops who are dying and coming home without limbs. If everyone quits in protest, the State Department might have to outsource to a private rent-an-embassador firm in order to legitimize the US embassy in Baghdad, and that could cost us billions of dollars in contract fees.

The State Department employees sound like most of the liberal cowards in this country and on this blog when it comes to doing their duty for this country. Maybe they'll head for Canada. I hope they stay there or get thrown in to Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary.

I think they just can't stand the fact that a clear majority of the country, regardless of what poll you look at (even the polls on the Fox "Noise" Channel), is really for the fiasco in Iraq to end, and they are hardly "liberal cowards" as our anonymous Chumpzilla put it.

I notice none of the BDS sufferes have stood up to take the place of these state dept. employees. Well I will .I would be more then happy to have thier job. Good pay, excellent bennies. So what if the job is in Bahgdad. It would be no worse then being a white man in L.A. or Harlem.

The State Dept employees (not appointees) who are protesting this tend to be career employees who knew going to Iraq was a bad idea in the first place. It was the political appointees in the State Department who pressed for this fiasco.

You are impossible to have a dialogue with because you are so wrapped up in secnd amendment rights you can't concentrate on anything else. Find me one place in any comment where I said I was a member of any political party. You can't so why do you accuse me of being a democrat? Because I don't agree with your infatuation with guns? I carried a gun for over twenty years. As for being a coward, I guess they made a mistake in giving me three citations for saving people's lives and when I served, in an agency helping Russian defectors get to America, I guess they made a mistake thinking I had the courage to do it. You know absolutely nothing about who I am or what I've done. Take your mindless and insipid remarks, write them backwars on a piece of paper then hold it up to a mirror and you will see that they apply to you and only you.

A.A , You seem to be suffering paranoid delusions which is typical of you cons, today, and Abraham Lincoln would be ashamed that his Republican party has been taken over by the obviously ignorant .
Your also obviously equally ignorant leader ,currently residing at 1600 Penn. shares a distain for the Constitution that , in his case he swore to protect and defend.
He not only failed to do so, but he has acted to circumvent our Constitution, a treasonable offense for which the penalty is death. You and the other obviously ignorant can claim stupidity as a defense, and I'm sure a jury of your peers will concur. This is still the United States of America, and you have the right to due process. Lucky you.
Bush has those same rights, but WILL be found guilty and must pay the penalty.
Till that happens, and it will, I suggest you get a good lawyer, and ask some kind, literate Liberal to read the Constitution to you , especially the 1st and 4th amendments.

Or you can choose to shove your AK-47 up your ass and fire away.

dmz,thinks I am a nut.I think anyone reading his posting will see he is nutty as a fruit cake.I think even Democrats will give me a "shout out" on this one!!!!!
