When will people be held accountable?

Joseph G, Martinez of Brighton writes:

We have had many unlawful things happen during the Bush Administration and my question is, when will people be held accountable? When will the person or persons be prosecuted and put in jail for outing a CIA Agent. Outing the Agent borders on being a traitor. When will a bunch of people, including the President and Vice-President, be prosecuted and put in jail for torture, especially waterboarding, using laws already on the books. Bush wants a new law about torture when the new AG gets in, a law that will absolve those who have approved and used torture.
Obviously it seems that nobody in Congress has the political courage to to move forward with prosecution of those who are guilty. The Bush Administration is probably the worst ever in the history of the USA. It’s time to get those who lack political courage out of office.

The pro-torture-anti-abortionists and the rest of that ilk, have taken over. Reason, judgment, and discussion will have to wait on a Democratic victory in 2008.

Good example of the left wing liberal mind set “pro-torture-anti-abortionists”, spare the murderers of the innocent and make sure the innocent can be legally murdered.
Hm, I thought Democrats celebrated victory last year. 110th congress was supposed to show Bush the door, what happened? Got bitch slapped by the Dems? Poor baby.

Uno...you're an uneducated partisan hack. How was the Congress going to "show Bush the door" without a hypermajority needed to overrule the obstructionist tactics the Rubs have used to undermine legislation and initiatives with the support of the vast majority of Americans...a practice that I still can't believe some of you far right wingers are actually supporting.
