Dems Hate War; Republicans Hate Taxes (Who Knew?)
We all know Republicans and Democrats are different. But you don't need a party platform to understand that. You just need a dictionary.
If you watched the presidential debates, you know what I mean. And if you didn't, check out this great graphic in The Washington Post, produced by Karen Yourish and Laura Stanton. It's called "Fighting Words," and it's an analysis of the words Democrats and Republicans use in the presidential race.
They took the two presidential debates over the last two weeks and came up with this:
Taxes -- Republicans 47 times, Democrats 3
War -- Republicans 30, Democrats 42
Change -- Republicans 6, Democrats 25
Life -- Republicans 30, Democrats 5
Health Care -- Republicans 7, Democrats 23
Faith -- Republicans 17, Democrats 2
The parties were nearly even on terrorism and on Iran. And Rudy Giuliani had a personal best for the most times using "OK" in the debate on abortion. (It has since been reported by Politico.com that Giuliani contributed money at least six times to Planned Parenthood. No word yet on which social conservative Republicans think that is "OK.")
They like to say that Democrats are from Venus and Republicans are from Mars. But both, we can agree, have been to Webster's. And back.

DU, CSU, and METRO STATE COLLEGE: Racist/Jim Crow
Iam astonished these 3 distingushed institutions have conspired to keep black disabled Vietnam veterans out of their 6-figure salary vice-president and director administrative jobs. I've applied at all three schools in the past six months and never offered an interview. CSU and DU are directed by Vietnam War draft-dodgers who haven't found anything they are willing to die for.
These acts aren't just racist, but they are also massive fraud, waste, and abuse of federal funds. Where's Pelosi and Reid when you need'em? On 5/7, the DU chancellor's secretary told me that DU is vet friendly and she could prove it because VA Secy. Nicholson is a DU alumni. She failed to mention to me that Nicholson is a "certified" racist, trained by Karl Rove and Dick Wadhams. Nicholson slandered Rev. Al Sharpton. He also has VA policies in place where in violation of federal law that gives disabled vets job preference, he has given those 6-figure jobs to his white cronies who have never served in uniform. Lynnette Roff, director Denver VA Hospital and Kathy Malin, regional VA manager comp/pen, are illegal political appointees that stealing jobs earmarked for veterans across all racial lines.
I am simply stunned that Gov. Ritter is allowing CSU and Metro to shaft black disabled Vietnam veterans. Owens (Vietnam War draft-dodger) also shafted Colorado's 400K veterans with regards to their disability, job, and contractingbenefits. More shocking is the black state legislative "suits and dresses" like Groff (apple doesn't fall far from the tree), T. Carroll (DU alum), Jones, and Marshall, have "cut and run", and are allowing unsuspecting black vets to be shafted. To these Judas-folks, "the plantation gates are dangling wide-open". Suddenly, Connerly and Clarence Thomas don't look so bad.
