A columnist’s nightmare

Ohio polls have closed. And, surprise, it’s too close to call in the Democratic race. (Btw, McCain wins AGAIN!!!! Is it me, or is starting to look like McCain might be the Republican nominee?)

Some of the exit polls have been leaked before the polls have closed in the remaining states, suggesting it will be too close to call in Rhode Island. And also too close to call in Texas.

If that’s the way it turns out – a close vote and a long night two things are becoming clear:

This could be terrible for my deadlines.

And a tie – with almost no change in Barack Obama’s delegate lead – would be even worse for Hillary Clinton (see below).
