Andrew Romanoff is in the building
The much beloved former speaker of the House is at the Capitol today, and is being maddeningly coy about his plans, for 2010, to be exact.
Andrew Romanoff served eight years in the House, the last four as speaker, before being turned out in January by term limits.
Many Coloradans expected Gov. Bill Ritter to tap Romanoff, a fellow Denver Democrat, for a vacancy in the U.S. Senate, but the governor went with a dark horse, Denver schools chief Michael Bennet.
The question often asked in political circles is whether Romanoff will primary Bennet in 2010 or possibly even the governor himself. Some insist he will, others insist he won't.
What's Romanoff say to any question about 2010 or his political future?
"I'm looking forward to teaching," he answered, no matter how the question was phrased.
Romanoff is teaching at the Community College of Aurora and is talking to the University of Colorado-Denver's school for public policy about teaching there.

Stay tuned.
Anyway, Good Luck to Andrew , his future is bright and a lot of people would support him for any office in Colorado. And Thanks for the effort to dump TABOR.

Romanoff: The only guest banned from my show for in-studio misbehavior. Most two-year-olds conduct themselves with more bearing, dignity and maturity that Romanoff.

Gunny - what are you talking about? I have met Romanoff and what you are asserting sounds completely preposterous.

It is, but consider the source. Bob Newman's own track record is pretty clear in this regard:

Yep, when it comes to acting with a total lack of bearing, dignity and maturity Newman probably takes the crown.
Still want to persecute American citizens on the basis of their religion Bob?

Wah-hoo. The always fair and soon-to-be-toes-up Rocky today gives us a breathless blog about hunk-a hunka-a Andy, a feature on how the meany Republicans in the state legislature are has-beens, and an op-ed chronicling how those two boobs Bush & Cheney disagreed about pardoning Scooter Libbey. I'm flippin' over to Littwin to make sure his lips are still surgically attached to the new president's derriere (Hold on, Mikey...that job with the administration's gonna come through, trust me) before I go apply for my new house and car. Happy days are here again.
