You're going to Hollywood, dawg!
Clearly, Senate President Peter Groff is an American Idol fan.
A couple of years ago, he insisted that Sen. Ron Tupa looked like host Ryan Secrest and wanted the Boulder Democrat to come to the mike and say, "This! is American Idol."
Tupa declined.
This week, after the Senate Birthday Choir delivered not once but two days in a row, Groff called out, "You're going to Hollywood!"
Sen. Kevin Lundberg, R-Berthoud, had no idea what Groff was talking about but Lundberg was told to just wave a yellow sheet of paper and holler and scream.
Groff got a big kick of it when Lundberg waved the Senate calendar, which is yellow.
