Denver's 7 news honcho says Lynn's not leaving
Colorado Black Journalists Association president Amani Ali may have acted prematurely when he sent a letter last week demanding that Denver's 7 management not lay off long-time anchor Bertha Lynn.
According to the station's news honcho Byron Grandy, that rumor is totally false. Lynn, Grandy says, is under contract with no intention from KMGH to violate the terms of that agreement.
"It's not true, I don't know what more to say to you," Grandy said Wednesday afternoon. "A phone call to me would have settled it quickly. (Bertha's) under contract at KMGH. I've never talked about (specific terms of) a contract, and I'm not going to talk about specifics ever."
Ali said he was tipped off that Lynn's future at Denver's 7 was in jeopardy, which prompted the letter. Grandy says that Ali never contacted him for a statement. Lynn did not return e-mails or voicemails asking for comment on Wednesday.

None of these slackers ever touch on the serious issues dogging the Black community. Every suit and dress in this organmization, is all about making white folks feel comfortable.
I challenge CBJA to report the issue of U.S. Sen Burris being forced to possibly resign (PERJURY). Compare and contrast Burris to SCOTUS in-Justice Sam Alito. Alito (PERJURED) didn't tell the U.S. Senate during his confirmation process that he is a UCMJ felon; AWOL, deserter and guilty of illegal separation and discharge. Fact is, GWB, a known white UCMJ felon, appointed his fellow white UCMJ felon (Alito). It would be great if the NAACP, NUL, BHO, and Congressional Black Caucus-CBC, would join the black journalist in this investigative reporting.

(There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
