Spilborghs back; Lineups added

OF Ryan Spilborghs came off the disabled list on Monday and was in the lineup.

The Rockies also called up RHP Steven Register, the first two moves with the expansion of the active rosters to 40. Manager Clint Hurdle said more moves will be made after Triple-A Colorado Springs finishes off its season today.

Spilborghs got the start in right field in place of Brad Hawpe with San Francisco starter Jonathan Sanchez, a left-hander who is coming off the disabled list. Jeff Baker also got a rare start at third base in place of Ian Stewart, like Hawpe a left-handed hitter, altough Stewart has been exceptional against left-handed pitchers. He has hit .486 against them.

The Giants, meanwhile, activated Sanchez from the disabled list, and also broght up INF Scott McClain, C Steve Holm, RHP Brad Hennessey and C Guillermo Rodriguez from Triple-A Fresno.
