New Obama CD/DVD features India.Arie, Denver speech
If nothing else election campaigns have gotten more music and media savvy. They've already announced that Bruce Springsteen and a host of other performers will be at Inaugural events. Now there's a DVD -- call it Obama's Greatest Hits - that includes part of the speech from Denver in August as well as a performance by Denver native India.Arie.
It's actually titled Change is Now: Renewing America's Promise and it'll be available only at Inaugural events and through this website for $30.
Included on the disc are will.i.am, the Tony Rich Project, Stevie Wonder, Ozomatli, Sheryl Crow, India.Arie, Melissa Etheridge, Lenny Kravitz, Robin Thicke, Maroon 5, Usher Raymond IV, BeBe Winans, Wilco, James Taylor, Jennifer Hudson, Lionel Ritchie, Death Cab for Cutie and Common. The DVD includes a series of speeches, including the Aug. 28 speech from Invesco Field at Mile High.
