Dems show Ritter the money
Already hurt by a series of missteps and a defection of some Republican moderates, gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez was outearned in August by Bill Ritter by nearly a 3-1 ratio, report Stuart Steers and Alan Gathright.
Ritter collected $605,673 to Beauprez's $207,117. To date, Ritter has raised $2.7 million to Beauprez's $2.3 million. But since January, Ritter has raised almost twice as much as Beauprez. With crucial fall TV ads now being bought, Ritter's financial lead will allow him to increase statewide advertising.
Ritter got another bump Monday when Linda Campbell, wife of former Democrat-turned-Republican U.S. Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell praised the Democrat's moderate stance on issues.
"
Definitely, I like moderate people, and Chuck Sylvester, who's running as a write-in, is, I think, a fabulous, terrific person, and if he was on the ballot I'd definitely be supporting him," Linda Campbell said. "Of the main candidates on the ballot, I think Bill Ritter is more moderate and a middle-of-the-road candidate than any of his opponents."
Linda Campbell said that, as of now, she is not endorsing any candidate, but of Ritter she said: "His moderate views are more in line with the way I believe."

Ritter is coming across with a message to voters he's about Colorado, he can listen, he can contribute, he's about growth and diversity for the better, for everyone.
Baueprez is coming across with a message , meet the new boss-same as the old boss representing white farm land owners in rural Colorado-off the map-out of touch-standing there with a shotgun in their hands saying "get off my land boy".
See you later Baueprez, your and old school dog who needs to be put down.

I went back to Ohio but my countryside had been paved down the middle by a gov't that HAD NO PRIDE....The Farms of Ohio had been replaced by shopping malls and muzak filled the air........
The Muzak that filled the air is the garbage the R's in control are trying to brainwash us with their lies about 9/11. The Dems and the middle of the roaders are not buying. Keith Olbermann was dead on last night on his show talking to the current administration- " How dare you spin 9/11".
Baueprez, you represent a party that has NO PRIDE. Bye Bye.
Thank you for reminding me, Chrissy Hynde.

It won't matter how much more money Ritter raises. Bob doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell. Even with his stance on abortion Ritter represents a much better choice considering the track record we've had under Owen's Republican leadership.

If you drive on the left side of the road, sooner or later you will have a headon collision. That goes for the middle of the road also. Only if you keep to the right are you safe, and then only if you don't meet someone driving on the left side or the middle of the road.

Hey Chrissy Hynde and Pretender- I was just thinking yesterday how cool it would be if Page/Plant/Jones went out on tour as rumored and had the Pretenders with them. And Shazaaaaaaam, here am I am reading Pretender lyrics on this blog and just got an email with a concert update with the Pretenders coming to the Pepsi Can 11/14 with The WHO. Wow, good enough for gov't work and "I'm a going". I'm buying lotto tickets today as long as I'm on this natural high.

The funny thing from my perspective is that Ritter is probably more conservative than the last two Republican governors in NJ.
I would rather see the existing stalemate than an all Democrat Colorado.

Hogar would vote for a Republican if they were sodomizing his children and killing his dog. And to think we would have the audacity call his loyalty crazy. I think the only thing Beauprez is lacking is a call for stronger gun laws to have the trifecta.

So does this mean the Democrats will stop supporting him? After all, isn't money (from people pursuing political favors) the root of all evil? When Republicans are doing better at fundraising I hear that they are being bought. Is Ritter up for sale?
