Lebron James: a dunk and rebuke

lebrondunk.jpg

I was only paying half-attention to the waning moments of the Celtics-Cavaliers game last night when Lebron James did this. TNT's Kevin Harlan celebrated the play with a call that described it as having "no regard for human life."

And you young players out there notice in the slo-mo replay how James used a nifty in-and-out dribble to get past James Posey before throwing down on Kevin Garnett.

But don't tell your mom to "sit your ass down" , even when she hops out of her seat to protect you.

And if you do, apologize.

"I told her to sit down, in some language I shouldn't have used," James said. "Thank God today wasn't Mother's Day. All I could think about is her. . . . I know my mother. It's fine, we're good."

Any minute now, Shaggy will explain to us how this entire play was somehow the fault of "illegals".

Good, I'm glad LeBron told her to "sit her ass down". She had no business getting involved with a NBA playoff game. LeBron is what - 6-9 250 lbs? Pretty sure he can take care of himself, momma!

I saw that last night. That dunk sure got my attention.
Mom laid the $300M golden egg if there ever was one. I don't know how Cleveland pays LeBron's salary, the owner came from subprime lending money out of Detroit of all places and you know that well dried up. Anyone know if Cleveland is in $ trouble?

    Mark-
I can't find the other topic with Penguins flying. I've seen a pig fly last year at the Australian Floyd concert. Go to the pics of this site and see that air-borne pig yourself. They'll be around this fall so you can see it yourself.

I've been out in Green Valley Ranch appraising a $315K purchase on the Golf Course. Ouch, this home last sold at $483K from the builder. Ooooops honey, I made a bad decision, I bought a home next to the airport. The median price for homes in G.V.R. back in 2006 was $184K. Today it's 149K and still going down. Note to self, don't buy the most expensive home near the airport. Ever.
