Slumdog Millionaire won Best Picture, Sean Penn and Kate Winslet won the top acting awards in a fairly anti-climactic Academy Awards show.

In 2009, as most people are either already over the edge economically or close to it, the airtime would have been better served on a documentary on any [or, all] of th4e following subjects:

2. Professional Haircuts in the Home
3. Planning the $5 Meal for the Family of 4
4. Cost Effective Home Remedies
5. Grain-based Beveridge Making

I guess I'm a fan. I watched it all. I even like the awards for sound editing, makeup, visual effects, short subject documentary, etc. etc.
I didn't see any reference to 8dude in that first post. Now, who is the wise guy?
